Moaning broken arsed loser.
Yeah .. probably because ..
Wheel bearing fail ... potential accident ... (collapse or loss of steering )
Front Forks oil ... potential accident ... (tank slapper - been there done that)
Tyre .. potential accident (blow out - been there done that) ... (edit: now that I've seen the pix it doesn't look that bad .. but can't tell from a photo ...)
Tail light - pickie but required ...
He's a potential accident just waiting to fall off ... and possibly take one of us out, pedestrians - your kids, your wife ... etc etc .. at the same time ..
Do you want an unsafe bike on the road coming at you possibly for the next 28 days ??? (and no - there's no time off - it's 28 days - not 28 working days ... )

You shut your mouth!!
I have a WOF on Boris until November next year - therefore, I have no need to do any maintenance or monitoring of anything until November.
Sheesh, what's the point in having WOF checks if I'm expected to take responsibility for my vehicles being safe?
I'd be quite happy being a WOF Inspector....
Wide Open Fanny Inspector...... (oops no offence to Aunt Fanny there...)

Speaking to a guy that performs WOF inspections he advised that they have to make a judgement call and if they don't believe a component will last until the next WOF they are meant to fail it. Not sure how true this is, but if this is the case then it appears to an appropriate decision.
Why not try using some of the tread on the edges, tyre may last longer that way.

One of the questions on my WOF certification test was 'If a tyre measures 1.6 mm of tread do you a) pass it, b) fail it, or c) pass it but tell the customer that it probably won't pass next time.
I chose c - and got it wrong.
Apparently it's not my place to be making such a judgement call.
