Its not the flashest system mate The bit that grates is that I have medical Insurance so if ACC didnt exist I could get a scan tomorrow
Perhaps if I was a world class rugby player or some other essential trade like that I could get a look in
On the plus side I tore some more bits off babe today and the frame that holds the instruments, headlight etc looks like it can be straightened by correctly applied force
And at the end off the day ACC never threw me in the ditch

Might go outside tomorrow and sit on babe

Its alive I tell you alive Babe is almost all good again. Rode her down and got a new WOF today Good to be back in the saddle even with a sore wing Man from ACC has finally decided to stop telling me to go back to work (onto my third case manager already, they are dropping like flies ) and this one is working on getting the MRI brought forward Its as big a miracle as a virgin giving birth

Not brave enough to tell me other babe I went for a ride yet

Hi Colin, sorry I'm late to this but glad you're not too injured, look after yourself and get well eh, or I'll come down and give you another hug & kiss.

    No tongue this time OK
Shoulders a bit stiff and sore. Specialist wants an MRI done before he decides whats wrong with it, so we sit and wait
So long as its good before January as Phil and I have some exploring planned The in Feb its onto road tyres and off round the South Island with her what holds the testes

When I needed an MRI 3 years ago as soon as I mentioned medical insurance the Doctor had me in 2 days later after having given me an option of times. However that was a medical thing and not ACC .

Same with my Hernia years ago, 18 month waiting list oh you have Medical Insurance, can you be in Hospital tomorrow morning please .
Unfortunately because ACC have accepted the claim medical insurance wont pay out
However my case manager has managed to get my scan brought forward one week so I should be grateful (Insert TUI ADD here)

As the Founding member of the Taranaki Right Wing Wounded By Waikato Buggers Club I am pleased to announce that I survived the MRI What an ungodly machine that is
They shove ya head first into a long white tunnel and say "now hold still" They then leave the room and close a bloody big steel door behind them Is this safe?
After that the noise starts, I will never complain about noisy bikes again
So all that is done its back to the waiting thing I see the specialist next Wednesday The way the shoulder feels at present I think it will be back to work
Nooles is in the Elbow Club thats a slightly lower order than the Shoulder Group

The boss is going to put someone in the truck with me Monday to make sure I remember what to do (poor thing has a dent on every corner and burns on three wheels since Ive been gone ). Perhaps we should organize a noobs ride to make sure I can still ride (not that I was much good before )
