Thats as far as I got 2 day.... late start..
And I found another track... Well the gate was open
A 6 or 7km ride up to a old saw mill in the middle of no where
never crossed the same stream so meany times..
Porika track was dry hard... but I put the XT down for the
first time.." I need a lighter bike"..No drama, just remember not to
stop over a hole in future unless I have stilts with me..
Pete
90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...
Ducati... Makeing riders into mechaincs since 1964...
looks awsome Pete. the XT looks cool, did ya get any nice scratches on it from ya tip over?
....wherezz that track go
Hmmm...
Where to ride tomorrow?
Explore up the Wairoa Gorge?
Moutere Forest?
Hori Bay?
Try getting to Panic Mac?
Road tyres so can't be anything too gnarly.

Nice job Willdat, now go and ride it
I would join you Nordie, but... we're busy shopping for a car for the Z; must go to Blenheim/Picton tomorrow after spending the day in NSN today
BTW. my ole laptop diedHow easy is it to get the info off the old Hard drive, it's sitting on the bench with all the TBAM dvd's on it and heaps of tunes.
Also... my skid mark's still on the road outside tricky dickys![]()
I feel Sunday Creek and Panic Mac calling...
Will - good shit- just the thing for a Nads ride around Legoland I was planning.
Jatz - good shit. I don't blame ya for cacking your daks- Some of the prices in the window are pretty excessive at dickys
Pete - good shit That road is magic. Glad the XT is not too banged up.
Nordie - good shit - what happened to Antori?
I was heading back from Blenheim today & heard an awesome roar then a cool red bike went past me from the other way with a dude wearing a helmet with a racing stripe. Looked like he needed a good shit.
You see all the adv bikes in Havelock? Must have been some kind of org tour.
I'm real keen to head out to Anatori next Sat for a play on the green POS. Is anyone else keen? Confirm early or I may get a dose of can't be arsed again. We could maybe try to do a fuel dump somehow if anyone knows anyone going over that way.
waddaya reckon?
In life as in dance Grace glides on blistered feet
Took my cool red bike exploring today, admittedly was planning on just going for a hoon round the sounds on seal only but the lure of an interesting looking side road or two ruined that idea prety quick.
Duppa road was the first and was fun, got up to a telecom shed thing and then came down to SH6 again and then headed up quarry road and did a few excursions up there. Quite a nice loop that.
Headed into Tennyson and explored a few side roads but they all end up at farm sheds, so had to ride seal into Tennyson inlet, that tree in the middle of the road freaks me out every time. Upon leaving Tennyson I turned up Worlds end road and went through a gate to an awesome track albeit moss covered and slippery, pretty sure it follows the power lines but I didn't go too far cos the afore metioned mossy slippery rocky track conditions got the better of me on a steep part and I fell off. Was going to have another go at the hill but discretion overcame valour so i headed out with a promise to go up there again one day when I have a few Nads.
Brilliant ride out except for the tree in the middle of the road, quick feed in Rai and headed back home with a clear run over the Whangamoas= O for awesome.
Home for a steiny, no pics, forgot camera.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
2 NADS with knobs on and Panic Mac is doable.
1 NAD with 705's and it isn't.
Eatwell is cool. Followed Gourmet Rd to the other end , then went up Malcolm's Rd as there was another Malcolm's Rd a km or so earlier. About an hour of being totally lost later, I got to the other end
Jacobs Ladder is a bit foreshortened. Old Coach Rd is ok for a normal gravel rd
The highlight was riding the Appleby River from the bridge, all the way to Clover Rd West
And not falling off
5hrs of riding in total...
