Was that in reference to how two people picked him up and dumped him on the stretcher? Cause I saw that too, and thought that was pretty stupid, especially after a freakin' motorcycle crash where you have a good chance of serious neck/back injuries. Though I will have to say that I've seen that done at other GPs around the world, so its not just the Yanks that do it. Still, the medical staff should know better.

As for Schwantz making comment, has he forgotten how he was the king of the high-side back when?
Cheers

I'm just glad it wasn't worse for Nicky. My heart sunk watching that though, I never like seeing people slide across the track looking like a rag doll.
shame to not have hayden on the grid.
stoners crash:
Face plant.
Did you see the fat cow with the medical overalls directing the other 2 that stretchered CS away (surprising the yanks didn't have a Hummer or Corvette stretcher vehicle on hand). She was pointing them in the direction they were already going and pulling on the stretcher for no aparent reason. All the while she was clearly having issues with the gravel surface that her fat arse had to walk on. I bet she had to have a little sit down to catch her breath afterwards...
Grumble bitch, now Im even more pissed my my sky didn't record it

Sometimes it is very important to tell people (who already know where to go)......................where to go. You know, so that someone feels important. I kinda liked the fact that the guys carrying the stretcher were making better progress through the gravel pit than little miss fatty.
Anyways, my comment was in reference to how the two medical guys just sorta grabbed Hector under the armpits and by the ankles to lift him on the stretcher, AFTER HE HAD JUST CRACKED A COUPLE VERTEBRA. Granted, they didn't know that at the time, but shit, they at least ought to know how to move a person onto a stretcher in a way that won't cause any more damage to the back or neck. Those two guys sure as hell didn't do that.

On another note, it's interesting to see that Randy de'Puniet is only ~1.6 s down on the pole position. Top CRT at Qatar qualified ~3.0 s down on pole, then they pretty rapidly worked that down to between 2.1 and 2.5s. At Indy it looks like Randy has managed to gain another 0.5s on the factory bikes. Granted, he's not really challenging for a podium or anything like that, but its quite possible that the top CRT tomorrow will beat some factory bikes tomorrow. (Not really taking Tony Elias into account, he's obviously going pretty slow. Or Karel Abraham for that matter.)
So is this a freak occurrence that has more to do with track conditions, all the factory bikes crashing, and other things like that? Or is this a sign that the CRT's are bit by bit chipping away at the superiority of the factory bikes? Anybody think that a CRT bike can get to within 1.0s of the pole position by the end of the season?
