Have you put a new rod kit in it yet, no point in doing the head and having the rod sticking out the side
My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues

Ill leave the engine alone untill December when racing starts then ill give it a rebuild so its faster than Hamish's bike haha give me a couple of months to order parts...

Ill consider doing the rod but if I pull the bottom end apart then id have to do all the bearings etc which is not a silly idea.

Maybe the first build should be limited to porting, cam, piston and carb

There's a lot of big ends gone bang in FXRs you're better off doing the rod kit as well

I got highsided when a big end seized and I saw another guy go down at BOB with the same thing

Although have always been interested to see how long the cheap ones will last. I mean what could go wrong

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

I just bought a whole new head for my scooter. 4-valve head with 24mm intake and 22mm exhaust valves - US$263.20. Choice of 6 cams all for US$63.20 including two roller bearings.
