    Nope, new track in Tadmor.

Through Tap and left over the brid...
"Oh fcuk, the bike's fallen over! Gotta go!"

Weird, wonder who that could have been?
wonder how many times the bike will fall over by the end of the day?

we will start a sweepstake. Winner gets nothing.

    My guess is 9.

Gonna do a cruisy St Arnaud, Porika, Braeburn, matatakatikatikati valley and the bit at the end of that which the name eludes me now, but ends at the sign post with lots of signs on it, then back again.

    It will do.

Edit, Maruia saddle, saw it on a sign post.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Luckily for Padmei, it didn't fall off the trailer in his own driveway

Yep well that's the end of my days as a trail riding God.

My back can't handle the off road stuff anymore so Snotso is going on the market. If anyone wants a kitted out DRZ/KLX 400 send me a PM.

FYI i didn't drop the bike at all today while I was riding it. I have reached enlightenment

I hope I'm riding as well as you when I get to be 60

Hmmm. A WR250R or DRZ/KLX400 would be my "upgrade" of choice for the TT.

The 400 is a lot cheaper though.
Does it come with new or pre-loved handguards?

    Anyone want a TT350?

    Shame about you back Padders.

My ride today was very uneventful, Porika, Braeburn matakatikati, maruia pass, all lovely. Bumped into James on the Braeburn and stopped for a wee chinwag. Oh and there was some scenery. No pic, cameras fcuked.

The shinko 700s were bloody good on and off road, and the 16 tooth sprocket is a keeper. Very relaxed on the road and still got up the steep side of the Porika with no hassles at all, in fact it seemed easier.

great to have a day on the bike.

That's one reason I like riding slower. Easier on the body. No, it's not that I'm just slow. Some people don't lap me on my 1st lap of x-country races.

I could keep the speed up today for about 1-2mins at a time but then the arms/hands couldn't handle it.
On my last lap, about 3 corners in, I went for the clutch and brakes and my fingers had curled around the grips with cramp. I had to pry them off the bars one at a time
Took a couple of km to come almost right.

I went to Tadmor via Dove Hill and Sunday Creek and back home via Sunday Creek, Jacobs Ladder, Rosedale and the Marsden Valley to Panorama Drive pylon maintenance track.

Please make room, look out of the way please, excuse me please... old man coming through!

WTF, you're a young bugger. You're only sore cause you don't ride enough and are not conditioned. Ride more, feel better. Hang on, that, is a slogan all in itself!

    Ride more, feel better
