Circumstantial speed is safe.....Where you get away with it...other wise,

There isn't one really, for argument sake, most speeds are not safe if you riding in shorts and jandels, 30-100 kph is not a safe speed if you (or someone else) fuck things up, that's been proven many times.

If something goes wrong, no matter what speed you are riding at above say 30kph, the outcome will probably be not to your liking. You probably wont die at such a low speed but it's going to hurt.

But generally speaking the faster you go the less safe the speed is as stopping distances become longer if shit happens. Sure people die under the speed limit but the chances are still less due to having more time to stop if you have any time at all.

also, look at the pictures, the amount of collapse od diameter, and bend in the pole. Physics of leverage, to bend it from so low an impact point? Would require a pretty reasonable amount of force, and it doesnt appear to be a 'glancing blow' does it?

Plus forget the little pole that the traffic lights on it the lamp post behind it that's twice normal width and half as thick as it was. Even the light at the top of the lamp post is facing down the road and broken. Pics don't show it because its behind popo in photo. Its also damaged a metre off the ground and bent like a banana.
Normally im a benefit of the doubt guy but there is no evidence to say speed wasn't a factor in this case.

no. 'Speed' was not a factor. Stupidity was.
Speed was what caused that amount of damage on impact. (m.v^2 kind of shit. Ask demon)

However, without the impact, the speed would have been irrelevant.

Agreed totally ,I broke my wrist and had whiplash after being hit by a cage while I was stationary, wrote off my bike and car ,
