Today’s D.C. National Guard remains strong with more than 2,700 Soldiers and Airmen available to execute its missions. D.C. National Guard Soldiers and Airmen resides within the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, and are proud to be from the communities in which we protect and serve.
The D.C National Guard was formed in 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson to defend the newly created District of Columbia. As such, the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States.
This authority to activate the D.C. National Guard has been delegated, by the President, to the Secretary of Defense and further delegated to the Secretary of the Army. The D.C. National Guard is the only National Guard unit, out of all of the 54 states and territories, which reports only to the President.

The D.C. National Guard provides mission-ready personnel and units for active duty in the armed services in the time of war or national emergency. The D.C. National Guard also retains the mission as protector of the District of Columbia.

Trump mentions his crowds in the letter
Only it turns out trump has a history of paying for crowds
    https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/ne...actors-803161/.

Donald Trump‘s big presidential announcement Tuesday was made a little bigger with help from paid actors — at $50 a pop.

New York-based Extra Mile Casting sent an email last Friday to its client list of background actors, seeking extras to beef up attendance at Trump’s event.

“We are looking to cast people for the event to wear t-shirts and carry signs and help cheer him in support of his announcement,” reads the June 12 email, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter. “We understand this is not a traditional ‘background job,’ but we believe acting comes in all forms and this is inclusive of that school of thought.”

    Hi there—

We are working helping one of are [sic] associates out at Gotham GR – http://gothamgr.com/ with a big event happening on TUESDAY 6/16/15.
This is an event in support of Donald Trump and an upcoming exciting announcement he will be making at this event.
This event is called “People for a Stronger America.” The entire group is a pro-small business group that is dedicated to encouraging Donald Trump and his latest ventures. This event will be televised.
We are looking to cast people for the event to wear t-shirts and carry signs and help cheer him in support of his announcement.
We understand this is not a traditional “background job,” but we believe acting comes in all forms and this is inclusive of that school of thought.
This event is happening LIVE and will be from 8:45AM-11:30AM. LESS THAN 3 HOURS
This will take place inside / interior.
The rate for this is: $50 CASH at the end of the event.
We would love to book you if you are interested and still available.
Please let us know and we will get back to you with confirmation.

Reportedly payment was forthcoming, if very late.

it looks like they actually did....
    https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/tr...-announcement/

The report notes that while the Trump campaign denied knowing about hired actors, it did pay $12,000 to a contractor (Gotham) four months after the event took place. The report also notes that Gotham hired Extra Mile Casting as a subcontractor “to provide administrative support at Trump’s announcement.”

Both the campaign and Gotham gave vague descriptions of the services provided by Extra Mile, but the FEC report notes those services included providing “at least some” of the rally attendees:
But one year after Trump’s announcement, the story resurfaced when the Federal Election Commission (FEC) released a report detailing its findings on a complaint over allegations the Trump campaign violated election law with the alleged hiring of actors.

The report fount that trumps campaign had done this but i am sure :"hunter Bidins laptop crooked Hilary. fake news left anfanta stolen election"

Amazing story in the Washington Post, sadly it’s behind a pay wall.

One of the founders of Trump’s “media empire,” Will Wilkerson, has sought whistle blower status with the Securities Exchange Commission, the body that governs the US stock market.

    Some details are as follows:

As the share value of Trump’s new media company appreciated Trump called a founding director, Andy Litinsky, and instructed him to sign his shareholding over to Melania. Litinsky replied to the effect that such a gift would attract a huge tax bill, far beyond what he could pay.
“Do whatever you need to do,” said Trump.

Litinsky didn’t transfer the shares and subsequently found that he’d been removed from the board. None of the procedures normally followed in such circumstances had been applied.

Later Trump’s sons turned up asking for large stakes in the company despite having had little or no involvement.

Some of the proposals presented to meetings were considered so improper that executives thought it may have been a Government sting operation and that somebody was wearing a wire.

There are mentions of Trump ringing in a rage, and of Junior arriving and demanding money. Then Nunes was appointed and demanded staff arrive early and leave late. He then brought in people loyal to him which created friction. His salary was $750,000 to start but he had no experience working with a tech company. (In recent years. while in Congress, he’d listed his occupation as “farmer” but he had no farm.)

The share value has dropped from a peak of $175 to $18.00 Friday.

Trump has four million followers on Truth Social compared to the 88 million he had at his peak on Twitter.

There is a lot more in the article but it would seem there is even more to come.

satire but funny all the same

Trump Furious at Herschel Walker: "Only a Loser Pays His Bills"

PALM BEACH (The Borowitz Report)—Donald J. Trump has angrily withdrawn his support from the U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker because, in the former President’s words, “only a loser pays his bills.”

Reports that Walker paid a bill in 2009 “made me very upset and, quite frankly, very mad, because it means that Herschel, who I thought was a tremendous guy and very smart, is not so smart and maybe even a big dummy,” Trump posted on his social-media platform, Truth Social.

“I have never paid a bill in my life, and I can’t support someone who has,” Trump continued. “If Herschel, who now seems like a giant loser, paid this bill, does that mean he paid his lawyer, too? His gardener? This should never be allowed to happen in this country.”

Trump said he is now demanding that all candidates he supports come forward with proof that they have never paid for anything.
unfortunately the truth is far worse
Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’
The president has repeatedly disparaged the intelligence of service members, and asked that wounded veterans be kept out of military parades, multiple sources tell The Atlantic.
When President Donald Trump canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in 2018, he blamed rain for the last-minute decision, saying that “the helicopter couldn’t fly” and that the Secret Service wouldn’t drive him there. Neither claim was true.

Trump rejected the idea of the visit because he feared his hair would become disheveled in the rain, and because he did not believe it important to honor American war dead, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day. In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.

I was amused to read that the Congressional Comittee wishing to depose Trump's testimony couldn't find any of his lawyers authorised to accept the summonds.

I now see that he's tapped another firm of lawyers already representing witnesses, Whose principal is a senior Republican and one of those who came up with the strategy to deny the election results. I'd pick she's going to need a lawyer fairly soon too.

Demings should win. Micro Rubio doesn't even turn up to vote much of the time. Then again Florida... Florida competes with Texas to have the highest number of crooked politicians.

Just on the off chance anybody was wondering... In one of Trump's many courtcases he is being sued by a woman who claims he raped her. Trump denied this, said she wasn't his type and said she was lying. The statute of limitations ruled out her charging him with rape, so she is sueing Trump for defamation, for calling her a liar.

She has the dress she wore on that occasion which she claims still contains the DNA of her rapist. All Trump has to do is give a cheek swab and, if innocent, it would clear his name. Strangely he will not agree to provide a sample.

The Justice Dept is defending Trump. His defence is that he said these things while he was president so he was acting in his official capacity. The Justice Dept don't want all and sundry taking legal actions against a sitting president so they agreed to defend Trump in this case.

The other day he finally had to give a deposition, so he went off on an unhinged rant on Truth Social. Among other things he wrote that the woman wasn't his type and accused her of lying.

Bingo! He's not the president now, he's a private citizen. Not even the resources of the US Justice Dept can save him from himself.

It seems like Trumps former adversary is now on his side. She is openly saying there could be election fraud next time 😂😂😂😂😂😂
