Off to the coast to get rained on instead, next ride will be Amberley, did take the RMX out last weekend for a short one, very different than the Beta, still a nice bike to ride though

That kawasaki thing you were riding in Aussie looks a natural fit on you. Surprised the Beta, Yamaha's and Suzuki's have not been traded on a KLR yet!

It'd need suspension work to have one long term but it was surprisingly good, 7400km over 14 days, Melbourne to Cairns return, got treated like a trail bike at times and only had to pick it up 3 times compared to 5 times for Ricards T7 in the first two days

Was out with all 3 of my trials bikes today. Two mates got the others dirty. One cartwheel down a bank forwards. The other backwards. But both smiling at the end of it. Sold a bike today so down to just seven.

New TRS is great. The Spanish really know what they are talking about.

What a day. Magnificent bbq. Next level eye fillet.

Dansey's Pass. Epic. 1200 plus riders. The three of us spent the whole day in the Advanced Tree section. It was a 50km enduro section. Unrelenting but we all did it. I am so sore....... Brilliant weather, rained heavily the night before so it was as slippery as fuck in most places. All I can say is the Xtrainer with a gummy on the back is a god! Left the paddock just after 9am-got back just before the track closed at 3.00!
Amberley this weekend, hopefully the sore bits will be better.

What gummy do you use, I put a Motoz Arena Hybrid Gummy on the RMX and it is the best rear I have ever used

I went over to the coast, short ride into some old abandoned mine and Andersons flat, guy I was with was doing a wheelie while accelerating away from me and making me feel very inadequate

I have a TUSK recon on the back. Complete game changer. On the strength of this I have ordered a SHINKO 525 Cheater for next time. Only down side is slippery downhills where a soft[Hard] tyre would offer better stability.

How well do the gummys / cheaters go on wet clay and teflon tree roots?

I have a relatively hard rear on my CRM and it's crap. Will spin effortlessly, even on a dry surface at low rippums.

Did consider putting a trials hybrid tyre on. Apparently the trials hybrid grips like a trials tyre but does not clog as easily.

Yeah Trials tyres are good until you meet gluggy mud.

It's amazing how quickly they turn into a slick up here. Last wet ride was 300mtrs before the track turned into a dyno. All go but going nowhere.
