So we have donors in a developing country giving generously to the US and UK because the rich first world is too poor to fund their own environmental philanthropy groups, right?

Obviously, on a pure self-serving business level, the CCP would be crazy if they weren’t amplifying Green fantasia in the West in order to sabotage the competition. It is commonly observed that people opposed to making any adjustments to mitigate the effects of climate change tend not to understand the difference between the words 'weather' and 'climate.' Thus when its snowing, in a place where it normally snows at that time of year, they will often point at the snow and ask what happened to global warming. Or they might point to a hot day in Canterbury.
Weather can be misleading, people in New York may have had cause to wonder as they can now suffer full blown blizzards. This could lead the 'weathermen' to think the weather is getting colder. What has actually happened is that climate change has caused the weather patterns that previously remained over the Arctic to break up and become mobile. Places that previously didn't normally suffer blizzards now can. That change is life threatening in places where large numbers of people are sleeping rough.

It took two years really, to get acclimatised to Adel from NZ . you'd get 40-42 on a Summer's day. Overnight it would be 35 all night and then by 0730 in the morning it'd be back to 40.
