    The hard truth

Whether you like him or not, Trump is going to be president 2024.

And deep down you know it too.

So, I recommend to start getting used to it.

Maybe hang out with us republicans and see what we’re all about.
    Get to know us better.

    TRUMP 2024 baby.

Just coming out reported by Fox "news" etc that Crooks parents called the police that day saying he was missing and that they had troubling concerns.
Just wondering if that news might have you reviewing your callous comments, or is there a little wriggle room for decency in there? Or does the scorched earth approach still apply for anyone's relatives of someone crazy enough to take a pot shot at the messiah stand?
    Cheers

I suggest you start reading the analyses coming out of the RNC. The Republicans don't know what they're about.

Job creation seems now to be a dirty thing. Teamsters union boss adressing them and dissing big corporates.
One veteran political commentator went so far as to ask which convention he was at.

This of course is a result of having a leader with no political agenda other than revenge - and making himself richer.

    TRUMP baby 2024.

    Hmmm, maybe, maybe not.
Donald Trump Does Not Get Post-Shooting Poll Boost

If we came to hang out with you, which brand of republican would we be meeting?
The staunch conservative abiding by lifelong God faring conservative principles - or the new generation maga that has old grandpa conservative hidden out back on life support while also being slowly poisoned?
    https://www.politico.com/news/2024/0...-maga-00168933

My 2 cents worth is, if Biden stays then Trumps path to victory gets a hell of a lot easier. And great great great great grandpa joe was quoted recently saying if the almighty came down himself and asked him to step aside, well joe would consider it
If the DNC is stooooopid enough to put Harris in, and lets face it, they are indeed stupid enough and have good history of inflicting unpopular candidates on themselves - ala hilary. Then again, Trump would be in with a bloody good chance.
Now if they were smart, and put dashingly good looking and well spoken newsom (im not a fan) in, then trumps chances would be in that gold plated toilet faster than had he eaten a 7 week old orange butter chicken reheat job.

    Fun times ahead

While I think President Trump is likely to win, I don't think it's going to be smooth sailing for his Presidency.

For a start, they've all made their money from globalisation, but they're campaigning on a platform of isolationism and protectionism.

As soon as that starts hitting them and their donors in the pocket, it's history. Just look at the Democrats and how they've had to sacrifice their traditional support for workers' rights over the years because the corporations won't stand for it.

Short of some crisis that upends the world economy altogether, it won't stand.

We've only got to hang out another five years max until AI actually is self aware, and takes over. Doubtless it will view hew-mons as an evolutionary dead end and commence to rid an otherwise perfectly habitable planet of the infestation.

So, chill out, let it happen, remember to breathe while you still can.

If you want to eke out some more years of your pathetic existence then you needed to start your prepper journey ten or so years ago. You need a compound somewhere, farming skills and, crucially, enough other people to make it self sustaining. A community if you will. The trope of the lone person in the cabin in the woods will make for a lonely painful death - accident, injury, disease.

Humanity's future is either Skynet or as Borg drones. Maybe as food/batteries for keeping AI going a la the Matrix.

    It'll be fine. Chill.

I almost feel sorry for Trump. Nigel Farage who was elected to Parliament by the good people of Clacton has deserted his constituency and headed to the RNC in the US. He is visiting his pal Trump again and is probably mounting another attempt to break into the lucrative US speaking circuit.

Farage was famous as a member of the European parliament for not attending his assigned meetings or more generally not doing any work at all. Only a supreme optimist can believe Farage will be working for his constituents in Clacton.

    A very interesting point.

Especially considering a whole range of factors.

Trouble is the AI will know where your hideout is. Yourself or one of community will have posted images of it on social media. Eventually your community will replicate society with leadership disputes and perhaps random fatal fights as stress takes its toll.
In a world of nothing your activity will have a heat signature for the ai laser satellites.
Roaming nomad gangs or lone survivors will happen upon your little enclave and there won’t be any trading or negotiations only actions.

Good movie few years ago The Road portrayed it quite well.

Nah. Trump was shot at by one of his own. Who would they protest against?

But I see the party of family values has crashed a gay hook up app at the RNC. Colour me surprised. Hypocrites.
