    Itchyboots bike

Motomox have them, I have a giant loop one here you can have if you want, if I can find it, I decided extra weight in that area was a dumb idea

I carry my tools in my backpack now, easier when riding multiple bikes, you can have that rear guard one or the front one, front is actually Acerbis not Giant loop as I just went and dug it out

I wont be at Omihi, I'm off to Oz Friday and riding the Vic high country for a week

Omihi was a very good ride. I dont know how James does it, but for a place where I have been at least 4 times before, the route was all different. I did 4 of the 5 enduros and they were pretty challenging. The 5th one could fuck right off! Great weather, great venue, great day! [apart from the guy who was trying to shortcut a tricky section in enduro 3 and fell down a bluff. His bike just tumbled all the way to the bottom of the gully and he was not much better!

Took my Trials bike for a few small (tiny) loops around the forest area on Sunday. Getting there. Max concentration and little stamina. Harder with no seat, so it bodes well. Energy levels are getting better.

Was a mint day, my boy kicked my arse and a mate did his first trail ride on a IT465 was bloody funny and a awesome effort... he would pass me down hill even tho he had both drums maxed out but every time it fired it would out power the brakes spin up and punt him forward.

Chris were do we find an events page showing up comming rides? this just shows past events https://www.facebook.com/AdventureTr...Events/events/

465 looks awesome. Remember seeing one in Lawron and. Taylor as school kids.
A big no thank you. Still looks cool.

D, you have 2 events left this year-The Fairlie 2 day-30th Nov/1st Dec and the Amuri Area school ride on 8th Dec. We are going to do the Saturday of the Fairlie 2 day, which is at Albury and probably the Amuri Area school ride. I can't tell you much about them as I have not ridden Albury and the Amuri ride is a new venue.

Yes, the Craig Pickering memorial ride. D, all 4 rides you mentioned have either been held earlier in the year, cancelled because of landowner changes [ the 2 whitecliffs rides] or drought-Kaiwhora. The rides I mentioned are the only ones left in 2024.

It's back in the area it used to be, which was a far better place than where they ran it last year

    Albury trail ride Sat 30/11

I did not particularly enjoy this one at all. Very calm weather meant clouds covered the tops and the grass was wet and very slippery. Lots of rocks hidden by grass too. There was an excellent series of hill climbs however that partially made up for it. Wouldn't go again.

I took the Beta to Tirumea Trail n track for weekend (one before) . It rained all Saturday and my crash test dummy was sent out. On clay he came back saying it was evil.

But nevermind, my plan was to ride the gravel road surrounding. Did about 35km day 1 and 40 next. Also a bunch of loops on the learners track. Hey for me this was a win. I'll return in February I hope.
