I like Tony alot, i have alot of time and respect for him as a person, and has a wealth of knowledge of motorcycles, and will help him if he never needed a hand.

Mods are here to inforce the rules, of the site, and as such, should be able to abide to them to a higher standard than the average user.

And as a mod you are not allowed to mod anything you have a vested interest in (aka you activly debating in such thread, or partner is active member of thread[aka i not allowed to mod anything dealing with motogirl, as much as i would like to at times].

Tony, would regular delete posts from posts that he did not agree with or people he didn't really like, many time given posts are disgreeing with his information. (i know this is sometimes hard to do, thats why there is a team of mods, since if you have an issue you can get someone unbais to look at it and they can decide what happens)

Tony would often post in the wrong sections of the forum on purpose due to fact certain areas get more members viewing so wants that extra exposure.

He was warned many times about such actions, in turn wanted to be micromanaged in his role as a mod. Which honstly why we have someone as a mod if you have to micromanage them in there job.

I know the issues with Tony have been going on for a long time, i have no idea what happened previous to me becoming on as a SeniorMod, i can only say what i have seen myself.

And as such, Spankme was informed all steps of the way, if he disgreed with our actions he could have steped in, but did not

On another note - Some of his actions are what many people complain about what the mods do which should not. You can't have it both ways

And as KB becomes more and more southern focused the absence of interest by the mods and Heaven Born in non-southern issues is more and more noticeable. The cheescutter campaign is an excellent exammple. It's a matter of very great importance to Aucklanders , because that's where the vast majority of cheescutters are. Yes, other areas have put their shoulder to the wheel, but Auckland is where it hurts. And, unsurprisingly the campaign was started by Mr Spankme, an Aucklander. And equally unsurprisingly, none of the rest of the mods or Heaven Born have shown the slightest interest. And in some cases have actively worked against it. So that's one example of where not having any Auckland representation is an issue.

Well Ixion i was at the cheesecutter protest ride, many people know i am always here to help in anyway i can, I know it was only a small role, but i helped walk around at the domain with a clipboard collecting signtures.

And honstly its people like that that make it hard to find mods in the first place, in my short time as a smod i have asked some well respected members of KB, if they would be interest in joining the mod team, but they turn down due to fact, they get abused for trying to keep the site clean/orginised. And then in turn with a some mods, are made to feel like an outside at kb rides/events.

Cajun can I ask if you are aware of where the deletions you are refering to take place?
Is it for example in the mechanical forums?
Could the advice deleted be along the lines of "spray Crc on your brake disk to quieten down the squeaking'?
Or could the deleted posts have been contravening the specific forum rules put in place by Spank Me?
There do apear to be many posts that disagree with Frostys point of view in the mechanical forums.They don't apear to be affected. I can see several posts by Robert Taylor attacking Frosty for example.They don't apear to be modified.

Are you aware of one single person Frosty dislikes? Honestly? He in my experience doesn't know how to dislike anyone.
Are you aware of any moderator other than Frosty or perhaps Kickaha who could make an informed decision regarding the tecnical sections. Joni Perhaps?

Regarding being micromanaged. So what you are saying is that Frosty made an apology for stepping on toes and asked to be advised if he did so. Sounds tome a case of someone trying to "toe the party line' and being offered no assistance to do so.

Tony always commented to me that he would delete any mechanical related posts where the information was incorrect and he felt it could pose a safety issue. I actually believe this to be entirely appropriate behavior, it may be against the rules, but I do applaud the man for it, bloody good on Frosty for thinking for himself and for not blindly following the rules.
Would you rather he left bad advice there and risk someone actually following it?
