Sadly. That's why I'm only going to upgrade to a motard or an insurance wreck.

Are you VFR purists against TYGA fairings and more into keeping the originals or are you all for them? If the VFR proves to be reliable for a decent length of time I might go that far (it was the original plan).

Do the tyga kit. Earthbound_misfit has a tyga kit with a nicky hayden replica paint job and it looks absolutely stunning.

My Dad's friend just did so recently. Cost him a fortune (had to sell all his bikes) and it's not in great condition either.

I'll have to see if I can get a go. It's been done up to 130hp at the wheel and it's has a norrow powerband

    What is this website?

I'm not sure if I had 10k I would spend it on the VFR. I'd probably get a motard instead. Though a 88hp 400 would be wicked around corners.

Can the CBR400 tail fit on the VFR with a bit of modifying? Could I fit a CBR subframe on? I prefer the look of the single seat tail, but I'm always carting my girlfriend around on the back so I don't want to loose the pillion seat

Ive never seen it viable to spend 3-4k+ on fairing kits on a bike worth about the same - and old to boot.

I love the old skool styling.

an 05 cbr tail will fit i think if you cut the subframe down.

    Get new windscreen

Yay, only cost me a month's worth of petrol

No riding up the rimutakas for me...

    Put it on

    Fairing bracket is bent

Spend half an hour bending it

Welds from getting it fixed are too big

    Grind it down

    Put it on

    Bend it more

Dent the tank with my elbow

1 step forward and 2 steps back

    Anyone? :spudwave:
Can't help with pipes but I can provide pix of a simple mod to free up the stock mufflers if you're keen. You basically can't get it wrong if that's what you're worried about....

    What?!?
    You're talking crap, man!
So, 0-100 in 3.5 seconds, and a top speed of 240 is not sporty enough for you?
