i know exactly what the point is.. and im looking at teh cause. The cause is that ginga tosser and NO MATTER what people do .. hes gonna make shit up and do people.. simple.

The only fix's are :

a) don't ride at times / places they know about
b) write in and complain on mass...

Then it just sounds like a beat up. I'm a great believer of fighting fire with fire. Ya just gota get ya selves organised.



If this cop is as bad as some say then it needs to be sorted. Best way I know of is to do some filming. You will need a group of riders on call at a moments notice (weekends??) who can drop what they are doing and respond with a vid cam. Several will be better The object is to let said cop know that you are watching his every move.
Film him on the road. Film him when he is writing out tickets.
Follow his every move. Make sure that he can see you and film film and more filming I posted a thread STROPPY COP Might be a good idea to have another look. (that journo asked some pertinant questions) When he comes over and asks what you are doing tell him that is actions are dangerous and unless he improves his road safety skill there will come a time when he will not see you filming him and he will be the subject of an offical complaint. If he calls for back up don't worry there is nothing that the law can do to stop you recording. You are on a public road and providing you are not interupting traffic or acting in an unlwafull manner there is nothing that the police can do to stop you filming all their moves.

In short gentleman make his life a misery. Remember he is your servant YOU ARE NOT HIS. Have fun.

I was noodling along in my cage heading to tauranga and came up to passing lanes, dude in front was realy going slow then sped up to 120km/hr at the passing lanes, road rage kicked in so i floored it exceeding that 120 looked alonside me and it was an under cover cop.

im sure he was doing it to piss me off to the point id get caught, i slowed down (didnt over take) as soon as i saw the uniform, tucked in behind him and pouted.

The only problem with that is that this guy is not just a menace to the ATNR folk, he is a menace to all bikers. Apparently (I have to say apparently, because I have not myself officially encountered him) he has a massive antagonism towards motorcyclists just because they ARE motorcyclists, no matter how law abiding they may be. Indeed he is probably more of a menace to those who have no part in the ATNR than those who do, since the latter will be expecting him.

As reported, his actions appear now to have crossed the boundary between agressive policing and intimidation, harrassment and dangerous driving. (I wonder about perjury, too)

There seem to be two options to me: a concerted approach to his superiors (unlikely to have any effect); or a joint complaint to the Police Whitewash Authority. Who will, of course, whitewash it, but at least it his bosses will be forced to take note of what he is doing.Boss cops do nbot like PCA complaints.

If some folk who have suffered his attentions who do NOT take prt in the ATNR could be found that would lend much credibility to the complaint .
