Sweet. Would love to start on my back but funds are lacking
I will sort out some images of me half sleeves and post 'em sometime this week.
What's with all the oriental styled dragons?![]()
Got my first tattoo this last Monday night. Will put up pics a bit later. Had it done on the underarm of my right arm. SHIT IT HURT. But, not as much as I was expecting it to. They are also addictive. I have been planning one for on my shoulders as well, just working on the final ideas in the design. Also will get one on the under arm of my left arm. First, let this one heal...and the wifey get used to it.
I used East Side, and the professionalism was fantastic.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
Nice job Brett, Pics or it didn't happen though.
Got my next appointment on Friday. Can't wait!
"It would be spiteful, to put jellyfish in a trifle."\m/ o.o \m/
I have two tattoos so far, one on my back (the kanji) and one on my calf (the butterfly which is actually 3 butterflys, symetrical)
I wont ever get my calves done again, it was agony. The kanji is between my shoulderblades and was a walk in the park compared to my calves. Next ones are planned for my forearms.
[edit] the kanji means from top to bottom firewhite, pure (I had it checked before i did it) and after 10 years is still raised like a new tattoo, apparently something to do with the ink they used.

If pain is an issue the following will make a big difference:
Oh and perhaps most importantly HARDEN THE FUCK UP lol!
- No booze or drugs before hand.
- Drink plenty of water before hand and during.
- A good meal/breakfast before.
- Pain relief before.
- Positive attitude.
- Accept the pain-enjoy it
- Talking to the tattooist, listening to music, watchin' a vid. All take the mind away from what is happening.
