    Night baby !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Congrats on getting your full. But, like illicit relations, it's more fun when there is somehting a little wrong with what you're doing... Is the thrill going to be gone now you're legal???
It’s diametrically opposed to the sanitised existence of the Lemmings around me in the Dilbert Cartoon hell I live in; it’s life at full volume, perfect colour with high resolution and 10,000 watts of amplification.

As for the perfect woman, I keep asking, but she's too smart to say yes to a numpty like me...

Speaking of respect, I haven't been out for too many rides, but was taking the back way from Whitby to Johnsonville, and I got a nod of respect (well - I think it was) from a fellow biker on a large sports bike heading north. and I am only on a 250.

I tried to return the favour... but being a learner (you know - too slow and all that).

I think it comes down to how mean you look to non-bikers, or how "try hard" you look to other bikers. I mean, a black helmet and one badly dilated pupil and blood shot eyes might help my case

    Dave.

I was test-riding scooters today and got carved up constantly. There's no doubt about it - people react differently to you if you're on a little bike and/or one perceived to be 'weaker' than them. (The scoots weren't 50cc by the way and I was both keeping pace with the traffic and holding my place on the road.)
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
