    Northern Motorway in chaos.

I have this mental image of 10,000 cagers sitting on the motorway simmering away as they go nowhere very slowly.

I am so very happy to be on the bike today.

    Hahaha nub'd!

Reminds me of when Toll Rail put at forty foot high-cube container of ours onto one of their trains heading north. Unfortunately some genius there didn't realise that although the tunnel on the way could take the normal 8'6" containers, the 9'6" container wouldn't fit.

Cue to forty feet of scrap corten steel.

I've seen 40 foot refers (refridgerator containers) run out of diesel because people forgot where they put them. If they have export quality meat in them, they get smelly really fast, making them easier to find...

    LOL!

Warkworth and the Northern. All we need now is a power cut, and it's back to 1920 in Auckland again...

Massive queues, took me half an hour to go around the block. It's clearing now though.

I just took a walk down there with my binoculars, looks pretty fucked. _b

What has an eyewitness saying ' I'm going to have a few beers tonight," got to do with anything in that story?

    lol

    Hehehe, what a winner!

I presume it's going to be like this the whole day then? They'll probably want to go up and have a squiz at the bridge I suppose, make sure it won't drop any more bits. I don't care if the Northern is a parking lot, but having to route through Onewa Rd and back out again is a pisser.

The weather in Auckland is wonderful, I'm in Parnell and there are women walking around here in bikini's. And it's always this sunny in Auckland.

Oh, shit, I think my meds are running out.

Whereabouts are you on Parnell Rd? I work in a restaurant where it starts to flatten out, and even on freezing cold nights, there's still young student girls wandering around in diddley squat.

I like Parnell Rd, always a delightful, ever-changing view
