    The way I see it

The way I see it is a combination of:
'Old school' rules - If it is not your property - Don't touch it.
My rules - If I catch you, you will suffer the consequences - whatever they may be. I'll decide.

well the way i see it is either electrify your seat or keep some gas in a can on the back and set them on fire if they touch it ... either works and both can be protection of property

Sounds very much like someone was giving him a message.

I think of it this way, if you found an unlocked car or convertable you liked, would you hop in it for a look and play around with the gears, knobs etc? No, its because it is illegal.

Anyone interfering with a vehicle that is either not theirs or one they do not have permission to touch (i.e. no claim of right), get on, get into (including motorcycles) is breaking the law and can be arrested and charged with unlawful interference.

People really lack good manners and respect nowdays, especially kids brought up without being taught to respect adults, peers, animals or other peoples stuff.

It starts with us to be better more considerate people to others and to teach our kids well (not that I have any).

Get the same thing with hot-rods - any time there is a public display of them you can guarantee some 'kid' (some of 'em are well past kid stage
) will jump into one and 'try' it for size - how come they see it as a car yard for them to test out the hot-rod of their choice.
Or worse, some "parent" lets their rug-rats crawl all over it like a bouncy castle One was using my mates '34 Fords front guards and running boards as a slide for their kids!!!!!

If I see it happening I normally ask:

"D'ya know what the owner of this car looks like?"
"Nah mate, no idea, cool car though eh?"
"Well ya better learn what the owner looks like real quick cos if he comes back and you're still in the car he's gonna rip your arms off and stick them up your arse"

(Sound of door shutting and sound of rapidly disappearing footsteps as in Goon show sound effects).

I've even had a few guys all like, "Can I try on your helmet?"... I'm like, fuck no!
Hehe i HAD the same prob with my Shoei......its now sprayed matt black, scrathces and all, the visior is a lovely reflective blue....no one touches it anymore, would be like petting boar.
On the downside, the cops allways want to pull me over, and my friends wont unlock the door untill i take the helmet off

Suffice to say I was beyond angry. No idea what cat ever did it either. Spent hours washing the bike down.... so gutted.

Playing with switch gear isn't the end of the world, but someone must have been pretty deliberate in what they were doing to stub a cigarette out on your seat. Especially at a funeral. Especially at a biker funeral where they would've had the shit kicked out of them if they were seen doing it. So what drove them to do it? Must be pretty pissed off with you... or of course it could've been totally random. Seems unlikely given the venue and event though.

Could have been a random act aimed at 'those motorcycle types who killed my mate"?
Or maybe it was somebody had an agenda.....
