Oh for goodness sake! Its Mission Bay. Crumpets are so yesterday - its scones and cream. Dirty Bikers are not permited. Fanging and racing on the streets are frowned upon in these parts.

Be good to see you lot again

There always a bit of crumpet in 'The bay of Mission' on Sundays.

Probably because I did not tick the box

Ok, we can now register our intention to attend

And I am the only one so far

I am not that much bothered about annoying anyone except for the businesses that might potentially lose income if cars cant get in there. Look there is any amount of parking buildings in the city. The bloody cars can go and park there and walk a bit further than they would normally do. It is bikes taking up the spaces that is making the statement.

I can't make this on Saturday, I have already arranged to have coffee with several of my female biker friends at various places around the town
If you want to annoy the businesses, have everyone pack a picnic rather than buying their food and beverages.

Mission Bay is good. The spill over could go to St Helliers (local Nat MP office in an apartment one street back from the main road (Polygon Rd) so local businesses don't have far to go to whine at their MP

Parnel Rd is a prime target as there really aren't many parking places on adjacent roads. Ponsonby Rd is better as far as impact on business for a lunch/dinner run (tons of restaurants) Though a bit more adjacent parking and not so many picnic spots

If the turnout is to be small-ish do we need to make one area our own (so to speak)?
Like the waterfront, or Ponsonby road?
Not much of a city type myself, so where are the parking places we can make the biggest impact.

And I take it we get in the CBD early to score the parks and hold onto them for the 9am flurry of 'shoppers'?
    Nice Sig

Hey, lets get this really clear. I DO NOT want to annoy the businesses! No way - no how. If we take up the carparks, and take the cage trade away, we HAVE to go and support them.
