Bacon didn't get us. Already busy with clients each time we passed. However, hXc used a bit more gas than normal what with the strong headwind and keeping up with the grown-up bikes and was forced to make an unscheduled stop. We'd just got it sorted and about to get on our way when the arrogant bastard (cop) pulled up behind, lights on etc. YT went to talk to him, but he was in boots'n all...
"You can't stop here. It's dangerous. What do you think you're playing at?" ...sort of thing. No "Is there a problem and can I help?". I mean, ask yourself...do we stop in silly places for the fun of it?? Fuckin' tosser. They do themselves no favours with the sort of attitude displayed by that prick.
Apart from that, we had a great ride. Thanks for asking....

As for the pig, I wonder if he would of had the guts to pull up those wasted and drunks losers in the Subaru from the Tarawera.

Was mainly the uphills and the wind I think. Keeps up plenty fine, although I do work it pretty hard.

Aye W.... I hate to say this but the cheap shit tyre stood up to a the hard yards this morning. Both with Pat on, on the way up and me on my own on the way home. Hmmmm could make for a cheap summer......... Was a tad this morning but it was so nice on the way home this avo. You would have had a great ride today.

Yes what a nice ride that was yesterday, still a bit sketchy on those corners when going a little quick, but coming back was awesome, followed W on the way back and rely enjoyed tucked in behind keeping the wind off me, I say it again you ride realy well W two up as well. The road was good and the company good to apart from the jerk at the Tav never mind the ride offset that.

I can get hold of the 250 TZR for $4800 well its actualy 2 TZR's with extra bits and fairings, Road legal aswell, I have PM'd Paddy. Unfortuenatly it is a Yamaha but I beleive it is a quick one.

Just to let you all know... there will be not PDR race team till the next winter round. The race bike spat the dummy yesterday so we are going to pull it down and rebuild it so it is strong for the next season. So roll on next March....

hmm just answered you on other thread .. I know Al had to stop in Turangi to pick up some stuff .. so far weather down this way is fine with high cloud rain not supose to hit til later on this aft ..
