1.55 aye, not too shabby Allan, you got some work to do before sunday though lines are looking good, just need to brake harder, lean further, accelarate harder, sounds easy eh.
I'll be bringing my bullet camera and stuff down for this one, time to play around a bit me thinks

For sure Demon, no doubt i'll show you some gravel close up again.

Allan, first place to work on the back straight, open that sucker up, you can brake at the 150 board easy from full speed, you should still be hard on the brakes right through the first left of the esses onto the front straight, turn 5 the tightish RH in the infeild, it's actully baffling just how fast you can take it, a real decieving corner, through the esses you can be quite hard on the gas, saftley and also when braking for the sweeper leave it real late and deep on the brakes in the corner, alot of people lose out with braking hard into corners, the front has a lot of grip to offer, it's all practice mate, will catch you on sunday, go in the fast group and tag along for a bit

Holy shit. Thanks for posting that vid kiwifruit . That track looks like so much fun. There seem to be more flip-flop esses than the map on their website shows? Just before you got onto the dragstrip stretch. The more the merrier as Robin Hood would say. What sort of bike were you on?
Looking forward to finally getting on to a brand new track. That doesn't happen in NZ every year, decade, lifetime.

You gotta change your forum sex after I learn you with my worn tyres, missing cylinder, loose chain and pulled hamstring (not to mention the bike's running on diesel 'cos I can't afford petrol)

Not going by their map on the Taupo raceway website. The new track doesn't use any of the old track. It's not like anyone's going to complain if the bulldozer driver was drunk and made another bend .

EDIT: Ok, just watched it again. You're right Saslex, they turned onto the old track
