walking down Elizabeth St in Melbourne last week, and spotted this bike just parked on the side of the road. Took a few happy snaps. Sorry for the shit photography: Bike was ridden a fair bit by the look, and its a period perfect late 60's cafe racer. It was parked outside the British bike shop (next to Mars Leathers). Heard it start up (second kick) and rushed out for a couple of words with the owner. An older gent ('60s) and he said something along the lines of it being the remains of his misspent youth. Hardly misspent IMO.
best bits for me were the sound, that motor, the big-ass drum brake, and the tail light.
Coolest bike I saw over there by far. (and that includes Eric Bana's 748RS Evoluzione Duc trackday toy).
