Angry To the Bitch in a burgundy Mazda 6 on Old North Road today

Long story short - I was approaching the Give Way at the intersection of Old North Road and Peak Road today to turn right to go to up Kaukapakapa and this soccer mum bitch in a Mazda 6 wagon turning right into Old North Road (from Old North Road - it's a funny setup there), cuts the corner so badly I had to slam on the anchors and move left (I was only doing about 30km/h) to avoid smacking into her. She got a long blast on the horn as I did so and she gave not so much as an acknowledgement of her wrong doing much less stopping and apologising, as she should have. I'm not even sure she saw me even after that. The headlight was on as was my indicator. So I did a u-turn to get the registration number and then *555'd her a little way back along the road (not that anything will come of that).

Sure, she had right of way but no right whatsoever to be cutting the corner so tha she was entirely on my side of the road.

I was going to do a "Online Community Roadwatch Report" but I see that that's for "where you do not wish the offender to be prosecuted", so fuck that shit. I'd certainly like to see her prosecuted but since she wasn't speeding or a motorcyclist simply overtaking a slower vehicle, we all know that won't happen. Despite that fact I will go and make a formal complaint.

Then, on the way home on the southern motorway there's prick in a Caldina taligating me big time on and off from Greenlane, despite me mostly trundling along in the middle lane at about 110km/h. He got off at the same exit as me and the only thing that prevented me getting off and giving his vietnamese head a solid pounding at the lights was the fact I couldn't, because the wife knew he was going to get it and refused to get off the bike lol.

If nothing comes of the formal complaint (gee, what are the odds...), I think it's time to start metering out some well deserved vigilante justice (the 'coon is due for a new set of plugs too!). I'm sick to death of these fucking retards on the roads driving with total impunity until they kill or maim someone and get a slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket. It's definitely getting more dangerous out there and this blinkered obsession the authorities have with speed is doing nothing to remove the actual problem of dangerous drivers from our roads.

+1. That message never seems to make any headway tho.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Mate , feeling your anger/frustration ,but unfortunately some cagers just want to kill you ,and are totally ignorant of this fact , good on ya for taking the bitches plate and 555ing the cow ,(as you said , what little it will do),As for the other guy , just tap on the window and give him the finger or crack a mirror , that`s the only compensation you will get, Mate it`s the world we choose and we have to expect that no else (but other bikers ) give a shit , sending some green to make your day a little better.

Do you really think the 'Turn and Chase' was the thing to do?....get off ya bike, count ot 10, have a smoke (if you smoke that is) get back on and ride off knowing you are the better person in this instance...think Karma mate, had you been a truck, she would have come off 2nd best. As for Chow mein on the Sourthern?...one of two thing should happen, either give him room so can fuck off outa your head space or....put 200mts between ya, that can happen in seconds..or was he keeping up with ya?

Mate, I can understand your frustration and anger, but road-rage attacks are not the answer.

Take a chill pill, count to ten, etc etc.

Yeah - they haven't got me yet though, despite their best efforts. Hers was one of the more blatant attempts of recent years though - complete and utter indifference toward others is how I would describe it.

I've done a few mirrors in my time. The most memorable was a couple of years ago when I nearly had the front wheel of my XR600 smacked by the rear bumper of this chimps Mazda Eunos when he changed lane on me without indicating or looking. I gave him a blast of the horn (ok, so blast isn't quite accurate for that particular horn...) and pulled up beside his window at the next set of lights (about 100m) and let rip with a tirade of profanities (it really was a close one that). He smiled and gave me the bird feeling quite safe & smug in is metal cage. The smile and finger disappeared with the sound of cracking plastic and breaking glass as his wing mirror disappeared from the door with one swift downward stroke of my XXXL gloved hand, followed by a smile and bird of my own.

Knowing what electric wing mirrors cost does give some satisfaction, but wasn't appropriate for tailgating. Honestly, if the wife wasn't with me I'd be in the cells now. That earlier incident really set my mood of intolerance...

What a yawn fair enough she should have said sorry or something but if she did not see you. Im sure you never cut off a car on your favorite bit of twisty's and did not even think twice about it even though the grandma behind the wheel had to see a doctor to pull the seat from her ass.

Damn right it was the best thing to do - otherwise she'd definitely have got off scot free. I don't smoke and I'm normally a pretty calm and rational person but that sort of shit fucks me off no end.

In my book, karma is the philosophy of losers that hope one day all their suffering will somehow be avenged, whereas I prefer to take my own vengence. Hopefully they'll think twice next time.

The gook was in and out of traffic tailgating everyone. Traffic was moderately heavy but flowing well - he only kept ending up behind me because he couldn't judge gaps and kept getting boxed in with all his short sighted lane changing. I spent most of the trip simply following a car in front of me. And fuck making allowances for cunts like that - they don't deserve shiit from me.

Oh well, you just put up with their attempts to kill you and say nothing - that's your perogative. She could have seen me... if she looked. She must certainly have heard the horn - it was right beside her door.

And no - I don't recall ever having done anything like that. I'm considerate even when pushing it along.

it's funny that the right advice for having someone almost kill you is to chill out even though they may do it again to someone else. i probably would'a chased. But i'd regret it afterwards.

Karma aint for losers, it's a way of shrugging off the stress. use the force, don't be corrupted by the dark side.

Dude - she's not on KB.

I'm a member of the chase and shout brigade too. I don't think I'm changing the world with my tantrums though.

Maybe I too need to change tactics?

Dude, maybe tomorrow you'll make a mistake on the road. After all, we all do it. Or are you perfect?

Perhaps your wife may accidentally cut someone off at an intersection. Perhaps she might then get the crap beaten out of her when she stops at the next intersection. And rightly so, eh?

Karma or vengence? No, it's called road-rage.

Chill out, or get off our roads.
