Unhappy BIKER DOWN -victim of road rage

So its 0850 an im cruising to work up island bay parade, and this dude pulls out into the maain drag infront of me, i brake -HARD, and void an accident narrowly, cruise up beside the guy whos slowed down, ans say " what the fuck are you doing?!? watch where you're fucking going" and continue on my merry way not thionking anything else of it.

so 7-800 meters up the road im in the right of the lane, slow for a traffic build-up, and he swerves in beside me sorta cutting me off, and shouts "yeah i nearly got ya faggot" to which my reply was get fucked, and he burns off. i took off slowly, got up to the 50 mark feeling shaken as fk, and then hes all anchors, rear sittin up high and im to slow on the brakes, i was gonna toss it rigt, but the oncomming traffic wouldn't have been to healthy.

next thin i hear the crunch as i hit somewhwere on his back right, doin about 40ish? and im seeing ground. The witnesses who got the rego and helped pick me up say i was under my bike. Dont remember that bit. he did the runner but he biys in blue wil get him. best they do rather than a vigilante act id love to see. When its to court i got a lot o witnesses, all saying deliberate act. bikes a mess all cosmetic though, rh fairing, mufflers pretty sweet though, front fender gone, nose fairing messe up headlights etc, rh mirror and brake lever gone.

Gutted, my baby is broken. So once we got the reparations an inssurance sorted, how long does it take to get a bike back in form? would love any feedback on people who've been through the same mess. Four years riding and some cunt decides to take his wanker streak out on me. I allways knew it was cgonna be someoneelse that caused me to off. im far to chicken to ride so hard i force the error myself.

Gonna have a wee cry now, gonna sort out insurance etc tomorrow. bruised an battered.

Shit mate, it's absolutely shocking that someone would deliberately take a biker out. I can only hope that guy gets what he deserves.

I look forward to seeing your nice bike parked back on Cuba St soon.

Jeez what a shambles mate. Glad you are allright and lets hope the cops get him and you can prove he diliberatly did it. Sadly, the way things are around here, if you hit someone up the arse they seem to put the blame on you. So I guess you need your witnesses.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Totally understand where you are coming from with this one - glad you are only battered and bruised. It could have been worse

I am gobsmacked myself over the offensive attitude taken by many cage drivers... road rage is an understatement. They will catch him alright, but what will happen when they do?? A slap over the wrist with a wet bus ticket? I have heard (and seen!) some pretty 'out there' stories lately...

Hope your bike doesn't take toooo much to fix

Glad to hear you're alright _intense_. What a fucker eh, at least you've got witnesses and his rego. I hope they nail the arsehole to the wall. I've learnt that due to the size of me and my bike, and the size and weight of even the smallest cage it's best for me not to hang around too long. Fuckers that can't drive properly (and who may have an attitude problem) are best as far away from me as possible.

That sucks. Related to the prick that had a go at hXc, maybe? Glad you got witnesses - normally running into someone from behind is automatically 'your' fault. Guy should be charged with "Assault with a deadly weapon"
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
