    Its dipping down below the horizon here in AKl now - out to the southwest

    The tail on it was something else!

    So, if its a clear nite tomorrow night, about 9:45pm will be the best view...

    an awesome sight!

    (i will get some more pics tomorrow night and remember to take off the polarising filter i had on the lens, hence the orange hue to it)

    Cool pic there Blairos!!!

    I remember as a kid looking through this huge kick arse telescope here in Nelson.. looked at Saturn & could see the rings around it!! iirc.. 886 million miles away!! also looked at a crater on the moon.. as deep as Mt Cook is high!! VERY cool experience!!
