    Tyres for gn

    Hi Gang

Awesome site- well i'm another newbie with a GN250[sorry]
Actually apart from being gutless it is good fun and I love being out there riding. My question is are there better tyres that you can get for it that will improve its handling, It has the standard made in china factory tyres at the moment. Any help with brands/models and good places in AKL to get them would be great.

    cheers

shit mate...your standard tyres will out handle that bike...you could glue a 1000 used condoms into a circle and mount them on the bike and it will still out handle that bike... just start saving for your next bike

    Ps: welcome to the site

I'm buying one of these on the weekend, any problems with yours yet apart from the tyres? just wondering what i'm getting myself in for. Its for getting round town on so i'm not worried about speed really.

I never found any problem with the tyres on the 04 year, and those tyres handled pretty well in snow and rain.. I did a lot of winter riding.
