    Taka's Roadworks - Wgtn

Was up the hill doing some laps last night and discovered a expensive LED sign at the very top warning of '7km of new seal' on the 'rapa side. Didnt go have a look at the extent but the sign wasnt there the night before.

Perhaps someone who has ridden over there in the last 24hours could comment for us?

I thought I should mention this for any rides that are being planned in the next couple of days.

Perhaps the takas should be avoided for the TCWNR

    Don't worry mate...got it sorted

Noticed on Monday evening a lot of markings on the last few corners on the Rapa side.
Me thinks that's where they are resealing.....best avoid for a few days

Skels, if you guys aren't going up tonight you won't be able to demonstrate your new prowess on the hill after thrashing last night

Righto then, who was the brain surgeon engineer that decided to spread tar and gravel almost the whole featherston side of the hill ? Went over this morn and it is fucked ! And as usual it has lasted all of 3 days before the traffic has ripped it to bits. The hotmix on the rest of the hill is great and shows no sign of cocking up, what were the powers that be thinking ? absolute wankers !!!
Right, thats off my chest !!! have a nice day! G.
