Diesel spill on Old North Road (Auck - 20 Jan)

Just been notified that there is a diesel spill towards the end of Old North Road heading North. One person has already come off there but thankfully with not much injury other than to their pride.

For those that ride the road - it's on the left hand 35kmh corner that switches to a tight right handed double apex, a few corners before the intersection with Peak Road - it's the steep hill that normally slows a lot of people up.

    Be careful and play nicely.

    Cunts!
That's a dodgy enough corner to start with!
Is it all over the road or just the uphill side?

It's just on the uphill side- I was lucky to miss it but was there when it happened- it's a good couple of metres' worth! We went round that road a few times late afternoon, it wasn't there the first time or so so it's fairly recent which is why you didn't see it TOTO.

Cheers to the drivers who were pretty considerate and the Harley rider who stopped to see if all was well.

I was told it was somewhere between 10-15m worth, thicker at the start than at the end

Nah, it was 6 inches and thicker at one end.

    *converts to old money*

Not that long, though I may have been slightly conservative!
