Had a BMW as a young fella, and didn't like it.Have a BMW as an old fella, and I really like it.

Maybe it takes more experience before you appreciate them?

    You're too young to understand.

    They're not for children

When you grow up, you'll understand. It's like sex, you'll understand about that one day, it's another thing reserved for grown ups

Confirmed, but not just for old men - for people that have realised riding isn´t all about warp factor 10. I used think they were Ghey, now I´d hapily ride one or even a harley. If your still into riding in 10-15 years come back and read this post.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

but riding fast is not in the bike, its in your wrist, and after 10-15 years of masturbation i will probably need one with a thumb throttle.

My "Overpriced Tank" weighs 200Kg (fully fueled), goes plenty fast enough to get locked up, will keep up with anything on a twisty country road and does 22K's per litre in the process. Some people even think it looks good too! That's NOT me by the way, I'm way too sensible for that.
