up a track through a gate to a tunnel in a valley, triple reps to whom can tell me what the building was built for and when?
Good clues, so I rode up COALtrack road, rode through COALgate to GLENtunnel and ended up in Whitecliff where I took a picture of the tag. To me the shed looks like an old NZ Rail engine shed built in the late 1870's where the old 'Whitecliffs branch line' ended. Just a guess though. Could be the local Knock Shop offering Sunday afternoon discounts to Greendale locals, who knows????

A clue was in the name of the pictures they are time stamped and also take into account the bike you could work out a formula of Time (00:16:20s) and Average Speed (70kmh) = Distance

H. K. Taiaroa was a man of the church and immediately after his move to the Taumutu district he worked with the local Māori and Pākehā communities to raise funds for the building of a whare karakia. The Hone Wetere (John Wesley) Church was subsequently built on the spiritually significant site of the old pā of Te Ruahikihiki. The church was opened in April 1885. It remains closely associated with Ngāti Moki Marae — the marae urupā is situated around the church. The Methodist church are currently in the process of returning Te Hone Wetere Church to Te Taumutu Rūnanga.

Yep, this is much more fun.
You were right about a goat track to Okains, met two vehicles on the wrong side of the road, and a wandering dog on the way there.
Here is the new tag, a nice little stack of rocks in a well planted picnic area off a state highway near you, or maybe not near, but within the 100km limit.......
In case you are wondering, yes I have changed monikers, the old one was 4 bikes old so time for a change to something more relevant and transferable.

A bit nondescript but I took a leak here and didn't have time to hunt out something better.
Anyway, It's a wee bit past a turnoff to some hot pools and heading towards another lot of hot pools. Possibly borderline with the 100km radius. the cabbage tree and powerlines can be seen from either direction.
