I dont see that being a problem
Generally speaking, I think a max of 24 hrs is the accepted norm, but I wouldnt recomend it on a weekend.:)

'Fraid not to claim the tag it has to be a fresh pic. File pics are Ok for placing the new one
see Rule #4 - File photos are permitted only to place the new tag. To claim a tag, you gotta ride.

No, SV stops just short of the tag location . This no-exit road keeps going a few hundred metres more beyond where SV stops.
