Mrs B. CANNOT STAND the term "the wife". She finds it extremely derogatory.
That is one of the reasons we won't marry, so I never get the chance to say it.... so all I can call her now is "the defacto".

), but I hate "The Missus" even more, and men tend to use the latter even when they are not married.
