I met you Carver and you seem like a pretty good guy to me plus I applaud your stunt, so why are you defending it? Surely you will man up in court by yourself and say"yes your honour twas me, I did it cos it was there" and take the token fine like a man.

You know whats funny, the people who are against people being cuddled and protected by society have it completely backwards. See a "real" man would be one that would know when something is wrong and know not to do it, and if he decided to do it would face the consquences. Dont blame the police for societies problems. I actually admire you Carver for your two-wheeled expolits. Some of it's pretty ghey, but overall......

The fact remains that there are people being prosecuted in this country, sometimes with the same charge even, for shit they themselves didn't do. That, in my somewhat biased opinion, is more of an issue than you being charged for something you may have actually done, with some planning and forethought even.

You told me earlier that you got legal advice. There's a good chance that this advice was based on whether you could be convicted, rather than charged. This issue has also become political, what with the media attention. Sometimes too one reaps what they sow.

The po-po seem to be able to throw DD charges at anyone they like, it's then up to you to pay to defend it. This sucks if you didn't do it in the first place, trust me.

I wish you luck in defending the charge, I'm all for a bit of fun. The reality is though, that in this society you have to play by the rules or take the consequences. You got bad advice my friend.

the whole defence fund comes from a coversation at the cold kiwi, where i at first rejected the idea, but now i see a need for it.
unlike your taxes going to prosecution, what i am asking for is given at free will, and i promise refunds for any reason it is not used.

What suprises me is that Carver would even endorse this?
He seems to be a man of great talent and well educated. The videos He and the rest of stunt crew construct and put online for our viewing are nothing short of brilliant at times.
Fact is, while his last stunt (which now seems to be 'A Bridge over Troubled Water) was very heroic, putting it on Youtube and posting it KB was not and has now turned around and bit him on the arse. What he did (while extremely dangerous) was illegal, he must now step up and take it like the man he is.
