I've viewed the linky - I don't see an issue with the interview at all. In fact I think the general public would consider he put his case across well. I would have struggled not to interrupt as the ACC chap spewed froth his verbal garbage.
A point of note that is being ignored is that Motorcycles already pay considerably more than cars in ACC levies.

One thing that I feel is very important to note is the red bike is a Honda Hornet -

I thought he did very well!! Carry on Xion this must be taking up all your time!! The wandering eyes could be fixed up a bit but we learn as we go don't we! I don't have a problem with him representing me that's for sure!

I'd have loved to see him whip out the email or whatever with the 10K fee on it (get everything in writing Xion) that would have made the ACC guy look like a proper cock and a liar!!!

What I really wanted to say is:
One thing he doesn't need is the people he's representing to flipping well back stab him and undermine his confidence!!
I haven't seen one "I'll do it" post on here so far so put up or shut-up!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

I am receiving some surprising feedback this morning on Ixion's appearance last night - surprising because I am not asking for feedback, but people who know I ride a bike are just coming up to me to talk about it.

The unanimous verdict is that "the BRONZ guy" came across very well - friendly, down to earth, knowledgeable & wise. "The ACC guy" came across as someone who was not at all prepared and didn't know his subject.

The best thing is that this morning I am working in a well known film & television school. The approaches are coming from staff and students. They know their subject, they understand the challenges of the studio environment, and they are 100% impressed.

There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!

Yes, together with a scooter. It was a minority's bid for sympathy after all
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

I persuaded them about the scrotah. The chick who called me to arrange it said that they were going to have a bike on stage. And mentioned she rode a scrotah. Having the scrotah there was good, showed it wasn't just big bike riders that were affected and angry.

Well, if we want to be mean about it:

    1. No capital on first line.
    2. Single "o" in "too".
    3. "close up" not well referenced.
    4. Multiple punctuation ("???").
    5. Missing apostrophe in "that's".
    6. Use of "where" instead of "we're".
    7. Inconsistent spacing ("boned(space)!!!" versus "up???").
    8. Multiple punctuation ("!!!") again.

...but more seriously, take a step back: how many nay-sayers have there really been in this thread?

So far, I think we are pretty well united.
