Good on you Les - good to see you on the TV putting forth a good cause.

I think I'll wait a while before buying another bike though.. hehe I just renewed my cars registration...

I think the wooly was a good move - a cuddly fatherly figure is better representing us than the usual 'biker' image TV likes of a smelly-hairy-foulmouthed-toothless-lowbrow.

Of course apologies to any smelly-hairy-foulmouthed-toothless-lowbrow's on KB that I may have offended ............ .... back to your porn........

Apparently not. The derivation, I am advised, is from Fair Isle, one of the Shetland Isles off Scotland , where, I understand, the knitting of garments in such patterns is a traditional homecraft.

Yep, that's pretty much the KiwiBiker way - shoot down anyone that has the audacity to have an opinion that differs from the mob.

It's not the difference of opinion that is the problem. No...that poster declared himself to be the enemy.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Top Job Sir IX. Liked the way he (Walrus mouth) tried to talk over you at the end but you didn't let it happen.

$200 million going somewhere.... guess those accountants and PR consultants for ACC are rolling in it.... as are the management......

And he hasn't been bagging anyone. I follow where you are coming from, but a fake presenter all dollied up stepping into the role will be shown up.

    Shoot down?
    Red signifies a differing opinion.
A differing opinion is free will. Are you suggesting we shouldn't allow free will on KB?
Many of us disagree with his position he has been told, had we agreed he would have been told also.
Just as he's welcome to his opinion and we are just as welcome to ours.
Simply because the majority happens to disagree doesn't make it a "mob" situation any more than you and he are in a mob of 2.

I thought Les did a great job of representing us bikers on TV1 Close up, he certainly out classed the high cost, highly trained professional ACC representative!

Les earned my respect and I for one feel proud and honoured to be represented (in this case) by him, I thought he was excellent!

We may be poles apart politicly but on this I am 100% behind him, especially the way he conducted himself and represented our case!

    Thank you Les!
