Hey I don't know why you are bothering to protest if you ain't angry! I don't intend to be a dickhead on this protest but I certainly won't be Humble. Sorry to get personal but if your attitude is part of the driving force for this protest we are doomed and I may as well bend over now
All 4 of your posts equal how much effort on this dude???? Hmmm?
    I smell National Infiltrator here

We were asked by Chief Inspector Peter Baird of the NZ Police, who can and will SHUT US DOWN if we dont comply with a reasonable request

EVERY available park near Parliament is being reserved for US
All 300 or so spots for a bike....

I complied because if we dont, they lock the gates and get the batons out

This is a PEACEFUL rally, and if no success THEN we get millitant

And dude, any time you wanna test my mettle, say so to my face
    Just ride.

I don't know if we can make Nick or JK respect us , now or in the morning. And I don't really give a flying fuck if they do or not..

What I DO want to do is make them FEAR us.

But there's more ways to make a politician shit himself than a rumble.

They won't fear THAT at all, because they'll just retire behind the police line.

    Exactly mate, again well said

This event, we go in peace to show just how many troops we can raise....not every army needs to shoot first

The threat of losing the immediate 5000 vootes in the grounds says heaps, and potentially 250,000 class 6 holders.....
National already making contrite noises, we just need to show we MEAN it, no need to get militant....YET!
    Just ride.

Anybody that makes an 'individual' cock of themselves - not only undermines the planning gone into this, but submissions made by groups and individuals on behalf of the MC community.

You could blow any future meetings with MP's, cops wont want to assist any more rides... friendly rides will be cause for alarm - and it'll be the big "get effed" from everyone assisting and potential allies - right now.

You'll blow the work BRONZ (and clubs and supporters) have done, and ruin it for everyone.

And really - What will throwing a tantrum on parliament steps, in the media and public eye achieve?

Same as anyone throwing a tantrum. *EDIT: Once the Media have finished with you - Ignored.

Right now there is an inroad - use it wisely - give it a chance, and try and think ahead?

    I agree also.

What I was alluding to is that there are sectors of the community beyond our sphere of influence that may or may not also attend the event, and those that don't behave reasonably will be under pretty intense surveillance.

I was told the police are catering for 6,000.

Did you see what happened to the clown that did the Wheelies on the last Ulysses run. They will deal.

........Sounds like a well organised knitting circle. Where's the passion, the hate?
Are we bikers or minnows politely asking the minister to reconsider?

Mr SPB - you listen here you (As I poke..poke...poke you with my knitting needle).
You can still be passionate, you don't have to ask anything, you have something to say, and you say it - but just don't blow all the hard work with dumbarsed antics.
The stoopid knuckledragging approach will end future meetings and potential progress.
Show you are a united big voice, that needs listening to.

I'll be the Police Liaison on the day. My advice is; Please check your attitude at the door before you get on your bike and if you struggle to do this you will face the consequences; such as having your bike impounded for up to 28 days or if you fail the attitude test, a nice day/night rest in the comfortable plush Police accommodation at Central..

We have the support of the Police, Businesses and other Bodies who we may need in the future. Two words that should not have to be said are:

    1. Credibility
    a. If we are to be taken seriously we need to be composed and professional. In simple terms = most parents ignore naughty children….
    2. Ostracised
    a. if we want the public on side we need to comply and be courteous, not be seen like a bunch of knobs. We want all of the support we can muster –

    Whose Next
    as a chant perhaps

Parking at the stadium means we can use the toilet facilities? With that many people having ridden for such a long ride, that's going to be a big plus parking at the stadium.
Also will be a better place to line up the bikes to have a look at after the protest.
I think even from the stadium the whole of Wellington is going to hear all those bikes.

Wellington people don't have a lot of time for people who hold them up, so parking at the stadium is a master plan.

    Sigh.

This will be the BIGGEST ever rally on Parliaments lawns, anyone dumb enough to not realize that they have a very well set and trained security force is truly living in la la land
2,500 is to date the most people ever to arrive at parliament in a protest

Reasonable request was as simple as this:

Dont fuck the city up like the truckies did, it wont work in your favour

So, to have a CHANCE to make our message heard LOUD and CLEAR we agreed to compromise

When has any government in NZ folded to force??????

    Remember 1981 Springboks tour?
I do....saw many of my neighbors smashed with batons and not ONE game was even interrupted
Two of our riders in this event WERE cops back then, and now are coming along to make a stand with us, thats says a lot about the diversity WE represent!

There are LOADS of people in this city that do NOT ride Motorbikes coming down to watch us arrive, hear our side of the story, and dozens of TV camera's arranged.
The word is out in Wellington, we are coming, and coming en masse
That's enough, there's no need for aggro to make our point (YET)

Great look that would be, playing tough neanderthal for the TV camera's and alienating the rest of New Zealand, keep it up
    Just ride.
