I think Zed told me it was written on some bit of paper somewhere
But when you think about - if you did do it, how would you explain it to your mate?

I don't know about that, it'd depend on who was feeling it?

I'll give you a bet it can be done and then i'll go ask my friend on his BMW to do it for you! I've rideen alongside him and watched in awe as he raised his machine into the stratosphere on it's hind Leg. I kid you not.
No stunt bike this one, just anordinary old Bmmer.

My old R80G/S would wheelie off the throttle with someone sitting on the back, but it took more abuse than I was willing to give to get it to do it without someone on the back. Guess that was just all about the weight distribution.

Free at last - Our roads are now Carver free -The Fairfield Bridge stunt

Jonathan Bennent otherwise known as"Carver" of "Morman Few" fame vacated his Not Gulty Plea in the Hamilton District Court this morning in respect of the Charge of Dangerous Driving for his stunt riding over the archs of the Fairfield Bridge across the Waikato River in Hamilton last year.
The result was a fine of $500.00 ,Court Costs of $130.00 and the mandatory disqualification for 6 months from midnight tonight.
I am expecting an article in either this afternoon's Waikato Times plus an item on TV 3 News tonight and possibly on Close up tonight.
For those of you who followed the previous thread I am Jonathan's Legal Counsel and I have his permission to place this post. In Legal terms he has waived priviledge although there is nothing in this post that isn't in the public domain. Comment questions and robust debate are welcome.
Jonathan now has a 28 day stand down period before he can apply for a limited licence for work.
