Normal use it dosn't feel much different.
But...
When you crack open the throttle over a bump or such there it feels like the air/fuel mix is connected straight to the back wheel.
Over one bump I normally give it a little gas and pop the front a couple of cm up (cause I'm a woose) but this time it felt the same through the wrist and engine noise wise but it came up significantly higher.
The front wheel cleared puddles much more easily.
I think it's suited to my trials/tractoring riding style nicely. No extra power but the way it's delivered is like night and day. No fluffyness off the bottom, just a good strong pull.
Unfortunately I think there's an air leak somewhere (manifold?) as it dosn't want to return to an idle consistently and it may be popping on decel into one corner and the next it's pushing like a bugger at 2200rpm.
Not a nice feel.
Out with the WD-40 spray today.
Yep, that was an impressive wheelie. Have to call you WheelieBoi now...
Much snappier throttle response, definitely nicer to ride in the ruff. But the idle hanging is a bit of an arse-puckering lottery on snotty downhills. One minute it 4-strokes beautifully, engine-braking gently over obstacles, next thing it's racing away on a closed throttle, so it's pick a line and go for itI remembered on occasion it had intiminators... fun playing with them by braking over big bumps/rocks and feeling them work.
Cheers,
Colin

Once it's out those 5 turns it drops the revs off nicely which would indicate it's too lean somewhere/somehow.
fran the man ;D
5 turns is quite a few ;x, i noticed it was quite twitchy getting to return to idle for me for quite awhile, untill i gave it a real good testing on the adjustment screw, around 2.75 turns or 3 turns and then it would drop back to idle nicely, maybe the leak air jet?
the response from fcr's is pretty cool eh!

Nah. The leak jet only applies when opening the throttle and there's absofcukinlutly no problem there
The rest of the jets look to be the ones I should be running.
Something is making it too lean and I think dragging it around on it's face on the back of my bike for the day after picking it up the float may have been shaking around a bit much in the empty bowl.
You let someone else ride your bike and what happens?
Dead wheel bearing. All the magic rust was let out.
looks hot bro

There was a slight air gap at the manifold. The bit of the clamp that overlaps when you do it up was bent up and meant that it wasn't doing up much at all.
Of course I only found this after I'd raised the float level a mm
Being a bit richer it drops the revs off much better.
Another issue is the TPS touches the side if the IMS tank and if you twist it slightly the accelerator pump/leak jet housing touches the rubber cap of the starter power lead
But by god does it pull from 4000rpm though![]()
check your emails bro
Checking but slowly.

You bloody Geek.
Who would have bought an ipad & sold it to Cash converters so soon?
