I still don't know how to weld.

Bought some engine mounts off TM a year ago but have given up hope of actually getting them...

    By god they're light!

Went down to the local motorbike shop and borrowed a 2 jaw puller to get the cranks off.

    Didn't work...

Took them back and played with a Buell on the dyno...

Back home and I looked up YouTube for a how to on crank removal...
"Use your crank removal tool and"
    Wait a minute...

    I've got one of them!

    The little sucker worked too!

Holy shit. I also have the correct bottom bracket tool too!

The new BB went in fine, torqued it up to the 25-30ft/lbs with a rag wrapped around the outside and a pair of vice grips.
Bolted up the cranks and now it looks like I need to use a road front shifter thingy (the crank is too close to the big ring for the mtb shifter cage) and also need to space the sprockets 1.5mm further apart.

Better fcukin work after all this...

Gaskets, seals & o rings are a barstard for Sat avo/ Sunday engine stuff.

Not knowing what I'm doing has never stopped me before - you've replaced pushie cranks - how much harder could it be?

most ready to fit ones are a complete length, meaning you'll have to get to the crankshaft sprocket end as well, if it's like the XT400 then your clutch basket needs to come off from memory.
