Nah. They rated the 500 over the 750, the 750s were becoming expensive, and the 500 was always considered the better bike by some - including me.

Are these the same guys that said a Z650 was collectable if ya couldn't find a 900?

Dunno. Didn't read that. Or if I did it was forgettable, because I wouldn't have been interested. One of these though?

I've got an H1 and an H2 in the shed (not mine, just minding them for an overseas mate).
The H1 may be for sale shortly.

On the plus side, no pipe wrap is evident, but twelve and a half grand?!
And that's just the start, it hasn't hit reserve.
Let's be analytical - it's a 2k shitter with a grand worth of parts and a whole lot of labour put into it.

As for the guy that commented "What a stunning job", jeebus man, it's got a fucking great hole in the middle of it!!
And fits the profile. Rode it a bit to try getting it running OK but gave up. It's shit. Best I sell it.

I do like it. Not so sure about the tank. I think there are prettier aftermarket tanks that would improve it .. but yeah I like it .. as do a few others who have commented on the auction .. someone will
    buy it.

I thought that they kind of were? they go for insane money.

I like the CB500 though I dont think I am cool enough to own or ride it. Probably waaaay to fast for me anyway - I am overwhelmed by the power of the SR400

Personally I'd sooner have a 650 than a Z1. Worked on both, know the faults of both.
Absolute best though is a 650 with 750 top end. Lighter than the 750, not a lot slower than the Z1 but a lot more nimble.

CB500's are just another overweight Honda. They need to be at least out to 700cc before the power to weight ratio becomes positive.

I always rated the Z650 - sweet motor. I almost purchased two of them (double sale) back in the day. Kind of regret it now ...... but such is hindsight.

I'd actually buy this if I had the spare coin right now, and I think one of you cunts should.

He didn't say the 880Ks were done on this bike, just that he'd done 880K, possibly in the Toyota. So he fired the bike up then went for a drive, in the car.

I'm very optimistic...that I'll be able to sell this heap of shit for fuck all. Buy if I rapped the exhaust, put a flat seat and bars on it...whoooooo hooo. Mega bucks!

It'll have a new wof, reg, and yes it's one of the ugliest motorcycles I've ever seen.

I'll list it for $1500.00 res.

Feast your sorry eyes on this you cunts!
