Look, no one likes a serial baddy in a movie to take a clean shot to the head for an unjust quick death. A slow tortuous exceedingly painful death is a vastly more satisfying and just end. And that is what is happening here with trump.
Never trumpers like myself get to paddle with delight in the near daily puddles of trumps tears.

I bet when you jumped on the trump train those few short years ago - sure in the knowledge of hours of guaranteed trolling would await, that in doing so you would also have to endure a never ending avalanche of crushing loss after loss after loss with accompanying grinding of ones teeth that also came with being a blind trump supporter. What you think is Justice, I see as flagrant corruption and abuse of power - and I'm certain that such actions will, eventually, get their comeuppance. And when that happens, those responsible will cry out in terror for Mercy, only to be damned by the standards that they enforced on others.

And it will be Glorious.

Just like when the Atlantic published an article pleading for a Covid Amnesty that was widely ridiculed and refuted.

Just like Elon and Twitter - we are seeing validation and vindication of what people like myself have been saying for years - that in major institutions (both private and public) there is a dominant Left Wing bias that has been tilting the playing field.

Just like the creeping realization amongst the parents of Children seeing the degree of indoctrination happening in public schools by activist 'teachers'.

And in the same vein, I'm certain at this point (based on the pattern of events) that all the charges being thrown at Trump personally won't stick, there will be some people who will get tangential convictions (although even those, I would consider fruit of the poisoned tree), Trump will emerge free from conviction, I'll make a point of everytime you call him a Criminal, to post your own quote about how ever many lost lawsuits it was and then there will be some major change and we will get a release of records that will show there has been (at best) improper collusion/corruption between the Democrat party and various Government institutions that were predicated on false or dubious information.

It was easy to endure the low Petrol prices, the growing economy, the decrease in global conflict etc.

And Biden has shown just how good a President (if not person) that Trump was. It took Biden all over about 6 months to fuck everything up, and he's been making it worse ever since.

I will grant you though, my initial enjoyment of Trump was seeing someone who said exactly what he thought and gave zero fucks. Very much similar to the Dave Chappelle position on Trump.

However, what earned my hardened support of him was seeing the effects his policies were having. Trolling is one thing, making the world a better place is another.

Given the context of what he's responding to (namely the collusion/corruption between the Democrats and Silicon Valley), his point of 'If they aren't going to play by the rules, then neither should we' is not as incendiary as you would like it to be.

Well... Can you find a post from me ridiculing the US Justice system based on the Election results cases? I'm fairly certain my position has always been "I do not have enough evidence to meet the threshold of 'beyond all reasonable doubt'".

In terms of the US justice system working well or being hopelessly corrupt - I mean, I can think of a number of very high profile cases recently where the Left has screeched about it being hopelessly corrupt, whilst trumpeting all the cases being bought (pun intended) against Trump...

For my actual perspective - it seems clear to me that there are a number of people in positions of power who have a personal vendetta against Trump, the NYC AG as a textbook example and they are using their position and influence to launch bogus investigations into Trump.

Just look at the Jan 6th pantomime - no one cares. The viewership ratings are abysmal, all bar one of the Republicans that crossed the floor got Voted out or 'retired' (Jumped instead of pushed) - that's not to say that some people shouldn't be convicted of Vandalism, Criminal damage etc. but the sedition convictions (for example) are naught but Political persecution.

So there is some corruption and if I give you the most charitable version, there is a baseline of corruption that exists in all systems, where people of overlapping spheres of power and influence interact.

It is my view that what we are seeing is an ideologically driven leveraging of that corruption to the point where it exceeds what is 'acceptable'. And that there will be consequences.
