How quickly things can turn to shit

I don't really expect it on any day ending in a y, glad to hear you're on the mend though

Dave, good to hear you are on the mend. When you come down, borrow Kickaha's Beta, but come over to our side of the river for some real trail riding....

I'd bring my van and my Beta I can touch the ground on.

Will depend on when my feet work properly and my finger tips unfortunately may drop off. That may leave sensitive areas for a while, not sire.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Not a trail ride as such but had a go at VMX on the mighty IT200, ran mid pack but had a couple of great races with Trevor on another IT200, new GMC pipe has lost a little bottom end, hopefully some jetting can get that back, definitely a good mid range boost though

Be thankful you're not in hospital with broken ribs and internal injuries - and an ugly old bastard in the next room who keeps coming in to talk to you when you want to rest....

I just pretended he was one of the hallucinations that the medication from the induced coma gave me, it took two weeks for food to stop tasting purple

Nice, hopefully it should be my first ride back after my second surgery. Let me know your plans so we can take you 'fun' new places.

Yesterday was the Amberley trail ride. Really high numbers and a perfect day for it. I don't usually enjoy this ride much but really enjoyed it yesterday. The enduros were fun but getting cut up by our second lap. Kudos to the 2 riders doing the main loop on DR650's! Stuff that! I heard Kickaha may not have enjoyed the ride that much but he can tell you about that himself. As for Dangerous, he has learned that happiness comes from fresh tyres!

At a fuel consumption rate around 1km per litre I couldn't afford to do a full lap, stripped the carb twice and it was still pissing fuel out so flagged it, Dangerous tried to palm his bike off to me and looking after his boy for a lap as he was so fucked after lap one I thought he needed to be on oxygen

I thought I needed oxygen, 2 epipens and a single malt... but after that 1st 32km loop the next 2 half lops and a fast 1/4 went well, apart from the fact I cant keep up with my 13yr old...
