If you wish to start that it is the the mirror image of my preferred political insult (calling Marxists as Marxists) - then fair enough - but the issue there is if you take the libertarian and individualist principal(s) to their n^th degree, they aren't that crazy.

If, however, you mean someone who merely believes in a number of Conspiracy theories and has a general distrust of authority - then I do have to ask if that label is rescinded when we get confirmation that elements of said theory are true about 18 months later...

I agree CNN is not what it used to be. It went from a moderately central (albeit with a slight soft-left bias - but one well within the bounds of reasonable taste) - to full blown Guardian levels of twaddle. Hell, even the Guardian, if you look 20 years ago, has articles which although clearly written from a left-wing perspective - were factual and charitable to the opposing view(s) on an issue.

The shift of the Overton window has meant that for the average Left-winger, CNN is not Left enough and for the average Right-winger, it is too far left.

Compare to Biden and compared to Obama, I would say in his first stint as President he did a pretty good job on those points.

Thinking that Trump will or won't achieve his stated policy goals is one things - but it does not, in-of-itself, qualify someone as a nut job.

The Democrats have had an alright little run over the last six weeks but as I predicted the wheels are starting to fall off. Kamala is falling apart, she can't handle speaking without a script. Walz is a joke.

It's been entertaining and I did genuinely believe Trump has some competition. I'm calling it early Trump has won this election.

Welcome back dope. Other than optimistic articles on right leaning "news" sites, I'm not seeing reports of the wheels falling of the Harris campaign? Nor have I seen her appearing to need teleprompters or scripts. She speaks quite well off the cuff, as evidenced in the debate with your mate that could not help but take the bait.
I'm puzzled by your Walz comment too. He strikes me as a down to earth guy in politics for the right reasons that can admit when he mis-spoke, or was wrong about something - most refreshing.
What is it about Walz that you find to be a "joke"?

That is what Social Media companies (all of them) have effectively been doing for the last 8 years or so. Along with a large number of supposedly impartial Media companies (BBC, CNN etc.)

Along with all the other stuff I listed above.

However, to make a point - I have not raised any issue with Taylor Swift expressing her opinion. I, of course, think she is wrong - be she is allowed to state her opinion.

That is no different than Elon or Zuckerberg stating theirs.

The moment, however, that they start tilting the playing field using opaque means whilst claiming transparency - I have an issue.

I could even make the argument that if Elon *was* doing all of the above, that would merely be offsetting all the of the censorship by the other social media companies - however, I believe that strict neutrality is the best policy - so I will not.
