Funny, I can deal with that shit but can't seem to get my head around the fact that I'm not allowed to ride a non-warranted/rego'd bike. Maybe I'll learn one day.

And yes, I did ride today

Warrant is booked for sat, booking my restricted tomorrow. Not that you guys care anyway.

You are all really nice people
    You might find this interesting...

"If time doesn't become 'fuzzy' beneath a Planck interval, this discovery will present problems to several astrophysical and cosmological models, including the Big Bang model of the universe," Lieu says.

Other theorists say the new results must be taken into account, but they say not enough is known about the way light does or should behave below the Planck interval to draw firm conclusions yet.

One challenge for theorists, if the studies by Lieu and Ragazzoni are on track, is that the instant of the Big Bang would involve an infinitely hot and dense condition -- something current theory does not allow.

LOL nicely put. Hey, wasn't meaning to take the piss! It was something that quite a few people might see, so thought it was worth correcting - but decided to be sure of my facts before posting. References given for benefit of those without motorbikes, who want to know where I got my figures from.

Point taken. I'm glad I've left the penniless student days long behind, and nailed the resulting $28k student some years ago. It isn't quite so precarious, but you still need to work hard and budget carefully; it's weird how expenditure seems to grow to match income. I'm just glad I'm able to pay the mortgage and fully support a wife and child.

I haven't read all the pages of this thread, but already the message must be pretty clear to you by now - SAVE the money, PAY the costs to get your bike roadworthy and certified, PAY your fines. The fact that you say "they can just tag those fines on the end too" suggest that you're heading very quickly to being eternally in the red (and not too worried about it by the sound....)

Overall, your attitude suggests that you might be better suited to another form of transport rather than a bike.

Yes. He is indeed the first person I've ever heard of who have dared to complain about a - to some degree self-inflicted - misfortune due to lack of intense scrutiny of the law.

Personally I can't seem to recall anyone within my circle of acquaintances who have ever - even to the slightest - flaunted the law of the land. No matter be it the speed limit, keep left rule, 2 second rule, max 250 ccm for learners and restricted, indicate for 3 seconds before turning/shifting lanes, etc...

    Once again, you fail.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Me? Did you check the link to see who you're saying failed? Failed at what? All I did was quote/post a link to a Space.com article on the Hubble telescope!

You must have led a sheltered life. Or you're mixing with the 'wrong' crowd...

Haah, you either really love physics (...really?) or you're just not very good with making life decisions, like choosing a decent career. Have fun when you're balls-deep in student debt using your shiny physics degree to get a job asking weather people want fries with that.

Anyway hi5 for moving towards riding legally and, and from another student with a bike (surviving off less than the full student allowance and no job), cry less please.

Geez the first bit's a bit bloody personal and rough. Who the fuck do you think you are?

    What do you study?

Wow you're lucky enough to get some student allowance at least.

Why don't you get a fucken job?

And why are you talking about the weather?

Ehh I guess, now that I read it again... I'm just someone with an opinion and a voice like everyone else here.

If you have to know, Engineering.

No my parents just don't earn a lot, and wouldn't help me anyway if they did.

I don't need a job, and I can manage my money well enough. Also I don't really have time to work.

Well it was about as on-topic as half the rest of the comments here. I even said something about the actual topic.

Yeah sure you can have an opinion, but to randomly start abusing someone personally and shitting on their future is way over the top.
