Small world!
Coincidently that guy was a pain on the freeway too. I noted his toxiq number plate as he was pushing his way in on a line of traffic - just after he finished tailgating me this afternoon - true.
Fair? Who said anything about fair? Who promised you "fair"? It's about survival, not fairness. Not much satisfaction complaining "It's not fair" from a hospital bed. Or having your kids say "It's not fair our Daddy died on his motorbike"
"Able to stop in the clear hazard free road ahead".
And by all means, have such hazards removed where possible. The fewer hazards the better. I would myself have a "quiet word" with anyone stupid enough to park in such a place. Just do not assume that it anyone else' s responsibility to ensure YOUR safety as a rider.
People WILL do stupid dangerous and inconsiderate things. Animals WILL wander. Children also. It is up to US to ensure that even if they do, we will still be safe.
That may at times mean riding at a speed LESS than the speed limit.
"Able to stop in the clear hazard free road ahead" Seems quite simple to me.

Shit really? Small world 'eh Dave.
It was when WINJA was posting, but we've managed to get it back on topic.
Fair as in the dictionary definition of the word "In a proper or legal manner" or "Consistent with rules, logic, or ethics". I'm not suggesting this as an excuse. The point of this thread is demonstrate that people are not "FAIR". I think you have perhaps mistaken some of what has been said in this thread Sir Ixion.
Well fuck me, Helen Clark and I have something in common. We're both losing in the polls.
I don't see Swanny on that poll. It must be a mistake! Oh well, guess I'll just vote for WINJA.
