FOR SALE: Hyosung Comet GT 250

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain

Its time the faithful Hyobag went. A loyal friend that got me around South Island chasing litre bikes, the mighty Wairarapa, and on the formidably short Taupo Track Day.

Its a bloody easy bike to ride. I lived on a steep driveway and had no problems navigating it. No need to rev the shite out of the bike or anything!

Ill be completely honest about the condition of the bike. Much of my riding is documented on this site anyway.

    Purchased new in July '05.
The paintwork is in bloody good condition. Fine scratches on paint only. Tank-pad from day one. Muffler has scratches.
Dropped in the driveway, and in a ramp in Greymouth. Both 0km/h incidents. Brake lever slightly bent as a result.
Dropped in the gravel in the Rimutakas. By the time I had run off the road and had dropped the bike, I was going quite slow. This is the cause of the scratches on the muffler.
Serviced regularly by TSS in Lower Hutt, including having the CDI unit replaced due to a bad batch.
New rear tyre in the last 300km. Pads replaced in last 1000km (I think). Chain replaced in the last 5000kms. The bike also has heated-grips and the rear fender/spade has been cut off.
Rego'd and warranted until July '06.
Garaged every night, and under cover at work each day.
Gave poos the learn (I can't back that up).

Can't think of anything else. Questions?

I only have web access at work so please forgive the time delays if you PM me. Ill post a pic tomorrow (Thursday).

    Cheers. skelstar.

[edit] - photos added. Pack rack not included. I have sold this already. Thanks!

I should also mention that the bike has heated-grips and the rear fender/spade has been cut. Not the tidiest job but it looks good.

This is a good little machine people - been well run in

We've all missed the Hyobag out on the road so someone needs to give it a home.

Meh. Ive ridden gixxers before. Is yours a thou? Id be interested if it was a thou.

If I gave you the 'bag you'd be doing wheelies quicker than you could say 'this bike has never been wheelied.'

I have added photos to the first post. They were taken late last year probably, but the bike is still the same.
