Give the man some credit. He took away the whole "tyres need changing in 800kms and on top of that I've treated the bike like a princess and only SLOWLY driving around the block with my daughter behind me by the rear seat" blurb. You may as well tell him to buy a moped instead of a blade that's meant for twistys and speed.

Entirely plausible too. I got left behind by a worked Harley off the lights one day on my 600. He just hauled away riding a mountain of torque (and noise). Got him once I hit my power band but he had me worried there for a bit. It wasnt until I rode that Diavel last year that I had an inkling of what a big V-twins acceleration feels like, wayyyy different than any of the sport bikes I have ever ridden, its like your shoulders are about to dislocate.
But from my understanding a Harley needs about 1800cc to be the slightest threat.

All things are not always being equal.......
A couple of 600 sportsbikes tried to pass me a while ago on lost highway between whangomomona and tunnel....
one managed....just
the other one had to admit defeat.
And that is "only" a 1450cc......
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
Not a bike but a service really. Cause we don't have better things to do with our time and money (like spending time on here and buying bike parts)

I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
