What would happen if you got dusted off by a Harley/Buell one day? Would you admit defeat and suck your own cock in public?

As if it would somehow instantly dissolve into a pool of plastic and metal the second any water hit it........
Give the man some credit. He took away the whole "tyres need changing in 800kms and on top of that I've treated the bike like a princess and only SLOWLY driving around the block with my daughter behind me by the rear seat" blurb. You may as well tell him to buy a moped instead of a blade that's meant for twistys and speed.

Not at all - I've never tried or learnt to launch my bike

(and besides, I'd just go back to the bar with the story of how they may have jumped the lights, but how I whipped them to 250 kph... Even if part or all of that may be fabrication....)

Entirely plausible too. I got left behind by a worked Harley off the lights one day on my 600. He just hauled away riding a mountain of torque (and noise). Got him once I hit my power band but he had me worried there for a bit. It wasnt until I rode that Diavel last year that I had an inkling of what a big V-twins acceleration feels like, wayyyy different than any of the sport bikes I have ever ridden, its like your shoulders are about to dislocate.

But from my understanding a Harley needs about 1800cc to be the slightest threat.

No, pretty much any Buell will leave any 600 off the line. The same kick out of corners is an advantage, too, but you're right, even though the HP is similar once the rev's get up things swing the 600's way.

All things are not always being equal.......

A couple of 600 sportsbikes tried to pass me a while ago on lost highway between whangomomona and tunnel....

    one managed....just
the other one had to admit defeat.

And that is "only" a 1450cc......

Is it sealed the whole way now? Because the soft tail would be a fucken hoot on gravel.

Still about 10? clicks unsealed. ...very hard packed though.
only a problem in rain. (Slippery clay with huge camber very entertaining....)

Not a bike but a service really. Cause we don't have better things to do with our time and money (like spending time on here and buying bike parts)
