The jury is back in the E Jean Carroll defamation case. A political pundit I follow had observed that the Trump team's closing arguments were so inept, and Trump's behaviour in court so disrespectful, that the jury would be very quick in reaching their decision. They were, even quicker than in the other case apparently, and they were thinking big. US$83.3 million big. That's quite a jump from the 5 million in the other case.
Ms Carroll better not spend any of it, it will doubtless be appealed and by then Trump may well be broke.

This is interesting. He will appeal but apparently he has to post a bond for this and the other big findings against him. He is unlikely to have however many hundred million in cash just lying around. He will have to sell property. He can't try that trick of asking a stupid price then complain nobody wants to buy it either. There is a court appointed manager supervising his business dealings and she has to approve the deal, whatever it is, and she may not want to wait. She is legally entitled to let it go at fire sale prices if it comes to that.

In the "only around Trump" files, it is reported that Giuliani is considering suing Trump for unpaid legal fees. Giuliani is facing bankruptcy so it may not be him that sues. It may be up to the Bankruptcy court to sue for the unpaid fees.
And of course if his PAC stops paying his legal fees as they have been, but are rumoured to be about to stop, suddenly there's a lot of money owing.
