it's in front of a chain link fence and on that fence are some wood cutout's of children (real creepy the first time I saw em, kinda stick in the memory).

So i went off down to Taitua to have a look around. There was a guy there closing up and i think the road either says private or not for motor vehicles so i didn't go any further.

Went down another road and found this (see photo!) was not prepared to go down it as someone was walking and im fairly sure its not quite the right spot. The only other place i think it could be is down a private road which again i wasn't too keen to check out.

Will leave this tag for someone else anyway!

I used to live on Rototuna Road before it was chopped in half. We were just west of a tricky corner. We picked up the pieces of 22 accidents in the first 24 months we lived there...

That's how I got the driveway through the fence - somebody kindly made a hole for us at 1.00am one morning...so I thought "Aha! The driveway goes THERE!"

The best accident we ever had was a couple of years ago. Someone going towards Hamilton didn't even try negotiating the corner. Went through a few trees before landing upside at the bottom of the hill in a swap. They managed to get out and tried to tell everyone they were just hitchhiking and had nothing to do with the accident. Methamphetamine does wonderful things :lol:

Apparently he was coming down the hill and lost it around the right hander. Most cars tend to loose it coming up the hill from memory and if you look at the photo below the fence damage would indicate he was going up the hill. Not that it makes a difference that fence is going to cost over a grand to fix :bash:

Last tag: Kaimai Air Disaster memorial plaque - Old Te Aroha Road, just south of a place called "Gordon".

I remember this crash - I was fourteen at the time. BIG news...

I liked this tag - apart from the long straight bits of road as you get close to it - and the brainless goddam woman in her titfaced fuckmobile with its really imaginative personalised plate (Kaths1 FFS...) who decided to turn right across the highway just as I started out to pass her...greasy road, in the shade, etc etc etc. Arse twanging moment. Apart from that, very nice tag.
